Hi, John, I found your CZcams films, and podcasts with carp chronicles and thinking tackle and really enjoyed them.
I have looked at your bait and flavours, and was looking at a bait for my small rivers for chub and barbel.
Several years ago I used the buttringer flavour for carp, it was responsible in part, for my one redmire carp.21 plus. Would you class it as a good winter flavour or recommend different, if so what with. Milk and honey, frost n flood or taste f2. Thanks.

Oh my goodness me used to use your frost and flood mix John years ago for my barbel fishing. Caught me an awful lot of barbel. Was only reading your book which I still have last week. Was also watching the Guy Rob and Stewart Morgan videos again I’ve got all 3. Think I might starting making my own paste and chop ups again after watching this John. Any recommendations for the barbel please

Hi, thanks for the comment! Frost and Flood is still exactly the same and works well but if you fancy a change go for Taste F2 with TM1 flavour. Pleased to hear you're still getting use from my book. Best, John
