    Nigeria has conceded just one goal in the tournament. How can you say they are not defensively solid?🤔

    I don't think she watched the match. The Nigerian defense won today's game, with Cameroon having no shot on goal.

      Agreed. Wasn't sure to what she was alluding. Nigeria was defensively solid in this game.

      Cameroon is divided. Cameroonians 🇨🇲 don't even want th3 nation to win the cup. The country is divided with southern cameroon. Cameroon is in a civil War. Most Cameroonians want3d cameroon to come back home and fix their house 🏠. Cameroon is divided with the war in English Southern cameroon. Ther3s alot you guys don't know about cameroon. But cameroon will be back. Nigeria 🇳🇬 is not near what cameroon has accomplished in football. I give you my nigerian people credits, though. For being a talented football nation. But cameroon has achieved more than you internationally. Wish you guys the best on your cup, journey. enjoy your little victory nigeria. Cameroon 🇨🇲 took 3 afcons from you. This win means nothing. You're celebrating because Cameroon is at its lowest. but they will be back. They just won an afcon in 2017. When was the last time you Nigeria won your last afcon. Please, Nigeria, make sure you don't get knocked out of the competition. You beat Cameroon, but don't beat Cameroon in regular matche stages NOT FINAL and get knocked out like in 2019.,

    This lady is off the mark pertaining to her assessment of Nigeria's defence. I think she just pulling out from her portfolio of Nigeria prior to the tournament instead of watching the game

  • @emmanueluche4994
    @emmanueluche4994 Před 4 měsíci +14

    She obviously didn't watch the game and that's why she was talking down on our defense. Nigeria has one of the best defense in the tournament, so far we have conceded one goal and when you watch our game then you realize we have monstrous defenders who are capable of handling any attacks. Nigeria can beat anybody in this tournament 👀

    There are 3 possible dark horses in this most entertaining Afcon in history. These teams are Cape Verde, Equatorial Guinea and Angola. The knockout fixtures bracket that has Senegal and Egypt should be prepared for Upset by Cape Verde or Eq.Guinea...On the other hand, Nigeria and Morocco should be vigilant for Angola, don't sleep.

    This lady does not know what she’s saying about Nigeria defense.
    She’s off point too totally. She should be sure of the analysis she gives on certain things before giving wrong analysis on air. That’s quite ignominious

    • @ntamichael9343
      @ntamichael9343 Před 4 měsíci +1

      She is giving her own opinion about Nigerian defence, which you are not seeing, so the coach should look into that.

    The Namibian defender received his second yellow card, not direct red as the last defender. And there was no controversy as the journalist is saying. Both correct decisions and no one complained about it

    How is the disallowed goal offside? There was a player in the goal area, not the keeper. How is that offside?

    • @oluwaseyia8548

    • @chibuzormartin2143
      @chibuzormartin2143 Před 4 měsíci

      It was an offside, if you watch the highlights you will notice the Cameron goalie was out of his line while a defender was in goal as the goalie, and the Nigerian player that scored the goal was the last man when the ball arrived to him.

    • @Africamyafrica80
      @Africamyafrica80 Před 4 měsíci +6

      A goalkeeper becomes a player and a player becomes goalkeeper. So it was an offside.

      To be onside you need to have 2 opponent’s players ahead between you and the goal. Normally one is the goalie but it doesn’t have to be

    This game between two former footballing giants was rather deceptive, it failed to underline the deep malaise and decline in the footballing infrastructure of both countries. They need to revitalise their local leagues rather than depending on Europe based players. South Africa has provided a way forward for other African teams to emulate, most of their players are from their local clubs

    I don’t understand what you mean by Nigeria don’t have a good defense, there is not such think as perfect defense.
    Nigeria defense has considered 1 goal in four games. To me the best way of defense is attack and Nigeria a lot of attacking options. To me we have not see the full potential of Nigeria attack.
    In the next game if Nigeria determines to win Angola they stand no chance of course that depends on the type of Nigeria team that show up.’
