Frank Drebin and Jaques Cluseau (not the Steve Martin version) are definitely worthy of the top spots. But personally, I would go with Buzz Lightyear, seeing as "Toy Story" director, John Lasseter, described him as less of a manly superhero and more of a cop with a soft underbelly. Plus, how can you go wrong when you cast Tim Allen to play him?
Jack Colt and Wes Lugar 'Loaded Weapon', Paul Hodges and Jimmy Monroe 'Cop Out' and the ultimate number one: Inspektor Ludovic Cruchot 'Le Gendarme" franchise.
