    Omg this is amazing! I love the thought that went into the branch design. I'm picking up my first 3 month old leachie this weekend and I can't wait for it to grow so I can give it a nice planted enclosure!!

    U think silver satin pothos r a good plant for leachies?

    So do the mealworms and earth worms work as good as isopods? And if I just do fake plants do you need the springtails? I want the simplest semi bio active as possible! Thanks much great video!!! And gorgeous leachie!!😍

      @SomethingJackMakes  Před 3 lety +1

      I think the earthworms help. But the meal works definitely do. Every time there is a poop there are a dozen meal worms all over it and it’s gone within a day. Springtails also can’t hurt to add.

    What type of silicone did you use? Pet safe or other?

    • @SomethingJackMakes
      @SomethingJackMakes  Před 2 lety +1

      I use the GE 100% silicone. You can get it at most any big box hardware store. And silicone that so 100% silicone should be safe. You want to avoid any silicone that has anything like a mold inhibitor in it.

    Do you think using just Clay pebbles would be alright or should I add to it ? I'm getting a Leopard Gecko..thx

    • @SomethingJackMakes
      @SomethingJackMakes  Před rokem

      Leaped gecko needs a pretty dry environment. The clay pebbles would not be good. Cause it might try to eat it. If you are just starting out. You could use paper towels as a substrate. And transition to a rocky sandy substrate later. .

      @@SomethingJackMakes You said Clay pebbles would be good, but right after it you said, Cause it might try to eat it ? So I shouldn't use them ?

      @@tony3176 opps sorry. Mistyped. It should say clay pebbles wound not be good.

    Can I go too big?.....

    • @SomethingJackMakes
      @SomethingJackMakes  Před 2 lety +1

      Bigger is always better. For a juvenile you want to make sure it’s not too big so that it can’t find its food. But as long as the lizard is eating , pooping , and acting normal the tank isn’t too big.
