Only if you think he's actually serious. I'm not sure whether you're serious because I'm aghast at how some people are so utterly inept at seeing anything else than what psychologists call surfer markers. You'd expect people who have watched the ESC would at least have a modicum of understanding for this since deadpan humor is clearly part of some lyrics.
It's a spoof song mocking the "happy-go-lucky-mentality" some claim is the remedy to all problems. Hence the cleverly hidden "F.U." sign in the middle of the performance.
The reason the song got 0 points is either because people didn't warm up to the spoof, or simply dismissed the song by listening to it as a sincere entry. You know, even sarcastic entries have to have some sort of gimmick or catchy hook to make people with 3 minute song attention spans remember it.

I don't watch the esc, but I did listen to all the songs while working, just to see if there was anything good. This is the one that stood out. It just makes you happy, I was step dancing my way through the factory 😄
In my opinion no other contestant is going to have more fun than him on saturday. Gave me goosebumps to see how happy and joyfull he is.
It's not my kind of music, but this song is so damn catchy. Lets all have fun on saturday and enjoy the variety of music.

I also don't think Jendrik was that bad (but the UK one was rly bad to be honest), but they certainly hadn't the charme of most other songs in ESC. We've won the ESC last time in 2010 and there are more than 40 participating countries, so I don't think it is much politized.

The song and its performance simply wasn't good in any way. Jendrik even admitted this himself in an german interview after the show.
