Being a big fan of Marvel comics, I was ecstatic to see these superhero characters come to life in 1966... even if only via limited animation! :)
Love the old marvel layout they had back in the day, helping to set up the laying stones for future marvel projects. Though I wish they put more love for the FF than others.

At this point, the marvel comics U, was just four years old, and they were desperate to get on the tube. They put quantity over quality. The first 25 FF issues should have been done first, with just the origin stories of the rest, then spidy.
Back then Hulk was just another Frankenstein monster.
I think more a beefed out Nutty Professor than Frankenstein. Yet the dynamic is like Victor and Adam from the original novel

The Hulk was sliding. The characters used "Marvel" Mystery Oil.
They had a Wooo sfx, visually, and made the Woooo noise, anyway.

I agree that the editing is terrible, but everything about this show screams "no budget". I only recently started working with video editing. I've assembled a 42 minute retelling of "The Empire Strikes Back" as a musical. I started with a few music videos for the songs, then tackled that complete project. It took a few weeks (though only working on it a few hours a day), but I happy with the result.
However, I have (and I assume you have) something they didn't have in 1966, which was a computer with the right software. The people behind this would have marveled that 50 years later anybody with a few thousand dollars (or about $250 bucks in 1966) would have a video production facility in their own home that could be used by anybody willing to invest a very minimal amount of time in learning to use it.
I'm not thrilled with the Hulk story, though I was never really a huge fan of the Hulk. It did have the advantage of having the Hulk be the needed muscle, while Dr. Banner provided the brain solution to the Toad Men.

Yes. The 80s Hulk, tied to Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends and airing on NBC, that was the version I grew up with.

I did indeed. I watched some funny videos with my daughter, had a couple of magic cookies, and was in bed before 10. Kathy and I got some things sorted out because we had had some miscommunications, and things are much better. It's amazing what sleep can do for you! I don't remember if I mentioned it but we didn't get to karaoke this week because my daughter was still testing positive. We're both really missing it, but she tested negative last night so we should be over that little adventure. I'm hoping to work on some music today, we'll see how it goes. I'm supposed to have the jam tonight, but I'm discussing it with myself since I still don't feel 100%. We'll see.

@@dwashbur 🌕🌌📀🐂💝 I'm so glad that things are working out for you and I'm glad your testing negative for covid don't worry about your karaoke it's not going to go anywhere but I know what you mean when you say you miss it I feel the same way when I don't play my Sims I tried to play it around the same time every night but there are nights where I can't pick up the controller and then I don't know where to continue in other words I'm still stuck right now I'm just placing doors and there's a window in the bedroom so two rooms are already connected I just have to work on the front entryway and put the kitchen back in place I'm going to try and work on it maybe after I have lunch we'll just have to wait and see I just have to make sure that everything fits together and I also have to figure out where to put the second stairway I don't know whether to put your place on the second floor or the third I just hope I can put the second stairway in some kind of corner just to let you know the Terrace is still intact and it's really big I stretched it out well I hope you have a terrific day just remember to take some extra time and rest pamper yourself you are important remember that I'll check in on you later don't do anything I wouldn't do haha love Jojo
Yes, I'm doing much better. Wednesday is our anniversary and I'm trying to decide what to do for Kathy. The best thing would be to take her diving since I finked out on her yesterday, but I don't know her work schedule that day yet. I'll suggest it even so, because the best tide is around 4:30 and she's usually done by then. We'll see.

I'm doing much better. The jam was quite nice last night, a lot more people than we've had before. For a while I was staring rather longingly at the keyboard on the stage (it's sitting on a stand that belongs to me) but thought better of it since I wasn't 100% and haven't practiced any keyboard in weeks. I'm going to try and remedy that starting today. I tried to take my old non-working keyboard to a place that is supposed to be able to fix it up and give it to someone who needs it, but they don't do that with keyboards any more. So nuts to it, I'm working on it myself. It's not the first time I've opened this thing up, and I may have found the problem: cat hair and spider webs! I can't imagine where those things came from, ha ha. I haven't tested it since I blew it out, it's not a high priority since I have another working keyboard. But this one has great sentimental value for me, so if I can keep it alive I'll be happy. To this day, with all the stuff I've gotten to play, it's still the most incredibly powerful instrument I have ever owned. It's a Korg N264 if anybody's interested. Amazing instrument.

❤❤🌝🐿💝😄 hi sweetheart well I made it back the lady that usually tells me there's no hot chocolate help me with the things I needed to get I got cranberry juice two jars of coffee that was on sale litter 4 bear my peppermint candy I'm going back again on Monday I don't want to worry about bear running out of litter again I'm going to try and stuck up on stuff before we need it I really don't like the idea of going to Rite Aid over the weekend whereas if I wait to the weekday I have until 8 p.m. to get there but bear really needed litter I think he was really happy that I came home I think he missed me and my tote bag you know the one with all the paws all over it it held everything can you believe that I am so glad that I spent the money on these bags well I got to get something to eat cuz I haven't had anything to eat yet can I have to move a lot of stuff in the fridge a white you again after I'm done eating okay I hope you're doing okay I really wish you were here I'd share my lo mein with you with some chicken fingers on the side and spare ribs boneless talk to you again soon I love you I'll be waiting to hear from you when you have time no rush love Jojo
Hazel has a particular way of letting me know her litter needs changing, and it's not pleasant! We use some brand of animal bedding pellets instead of regular litter, I forget why we started doing that. She doesn't care as long as it's there and not too badly fouled.
People talk about cats being stand-offish and aloof and they don't care about you and all that, but it's not true. They love us, too. They show it differently, but they need affection and love just as much as any other creature. Bear likes the bags? That's cool! Does he try to play with them? My daughter's cat Inara can make a toy out of anything. They really fill a hole in our lives, don't they?
I'm supposed to go diving with Kathy today but I doubt I'm going to be able to. I had a lousy night. I think the PTSD is still slamming me. I thought I'd give it a try, but I don't think it's happening. She's certified to dive by herself so that's what she'll end up doing. I really don't like this. It's our favorite thing to share and I can't do it. We're supposed to go to Catalina in a couple of months and I'm still a mess. Back to the therapist, I guess. I was feeling badly enough last night that I begged off karaoke. We probably couldn't have gone anyway, I think my daughter is still covid positive. But this morning there's a knot in the pit of my gut that won't let up. I'll probably end up staying out of the water, doggone it.
When my body gets like this I can't eat, can't sleep, can't play, can't do anything but sit here and stare at the screen. I have GOT to find a solution for this.

@@dwashbur 🌹💝🌕🐿📀🐂 I'm so sorry you having a difficult time with all this I know what it's like when everything doesn't go well I'm here if you want to talk I can't imagine what it feels like when you have PTSD I think part of the problem you're having is it you've been cooped up with covid it's taking a long time to dissipate don't worry you'll get there talking to you therapist is definitely a good idea he or she can help you through the difficult times with this remember my friend you have been through alot please remember what you always tell me one step at a time maybe this will help think of it like you're untying a knot how do you do that you take one section at a time and you work on it nothing else matters once you have that section undone you step away for awhile and when you feel you can go back you go to the next section but you're probably like me you do the hard part first you just might be feeling a little bit overwhelmed and it will pass don't worry you will figure it out just give yourself a little time remember I'm in your corner even superheroes have their bad days and that's okay Nobert doesn't play with the bag but the bag is big enough for him if I let him do that he plays with the plastic bags that I come home with he loves the measuring cups that come with cough medicine he goes crazy when I have to take cough medicine but I think that is weird but that's his thing tell Chase one all around the room sometime so we can play with a bottle cap well I hope the rest of your day goes better try playing a video game just for fun that might help you I'm going to be getting up around 6 and I'll check in on you then you'll be okay I promise love Jojo
