You made the best decision to become "self-employed" full time. I spent the majority of my career self-employed which allowed me to be in control of my income and be available for my family and retire at 53.
Don’t fret about your kids choosing not to go to university. I’d encourage them to look into trades. Trade jobs are more flexible for locations and typically the pay is better too without the staggering dept.
I hope you will get your basement done so you can feel comfortable down there. 😊 much love honey

You are a great example to your kids and others of educated & multiple streams! And that will always bring jealousy but keep doing YOU❤Yes when corruption comes to the job it's a no go! I was fired for finally being the whistleblower of our boss at a child care center. With parent complaint letters and me confronting the boss and a few shady board members I got let go but the funding agency got all the details and put them on Watch! after they wanted to start holding individual fundraising monies too (which never seemed to be available/were less than raised).

Shvonne, I feel you. I left corporate America a long time ago and it God's way of saying I want to use you somewhere else. I worked with the community as well, I was compassionate about my work , my vision but them folks don't want to see you as a black woman be great. Hey Shavonne, Love your channel. Have you ever thought about putting that 6th piece of board for closet shelve at bottom on flloor of closet like you did for the other shelves. It will cover the flooring for now and you can use it like a shelf also to store more stuff. Just a thought. Loooovvveee your motivation.❤

I am not in the medical field but listening to what you said about Gianni (spelling ? Sorry) it sounds very similar to Oppositional Defiance Disorder (ODD) but of course this is based on a 2 second snippet of a CZcams video. But that being said it’s in the past and I LOVE, LOVE the relationship you have with your oldest….and the relationship you have with ALL your children.

I have one comment/question/suggestion which Ironically is in regard to a statement you made. You stated that you used to do landscaping. Do you think that you will do a video on landscaping your front yard? Or have you ever thought about enlisting a professional landscaper?
You did wonders with the decoration of the interior of your home-I just love, love, love your kitchen!-you have brought so much value to your home by all the updates that you have made; but sometimes people forget that the outside increases property value to the neighborhood. I can just envision the added beauty of your property once it has been professionally landscaped, if that is something you choose.
I wish you had a washer and dryer in your bathroom that you don’t use much. I’m not a big fan of the basement either. It would be so much easier.

I would be putting a washer and dryer in the basement. Im not lugging bags,and paying all that money. Plus its more comfortable for me to wash at home.
She does have a washer and dryer. She doesn’t like her basements. Basements can be creepy.
Financially take care of you and your life...mortgage, food, utilities, retirement.
The kids can do ok with good grades, scholarships, creative ways to pay for College.
BUT..... my laundry is in my basement (😢yuck)
If I were you, I would scrimp and save and find a way to put laundry on the first floor.
I have 5 adult kids and I'm finding out their feelings of how I wasn't "fair" to them individually. Huh? Oh please.
I swear they have a spreadsheet.
I should listen to them I guess, but I was always told kids are like garden flowers. Some need more care than others. I apologized to them.
But, depending on their birth order, there are different circumstances.
Of course that baby child gets different care.

Love your channel , I have a great idea ! Move your laundry room up too the main floor bathroom! The plumbing is already there , it would simplify your life …I would love my laundryroom on the main floor …..
She only has one bathroom downstairs. That would mean all guests would have to go upstairs to use the bathroom. There is only 1 bathroom upstairs that serves her entire family. FYI: Losing a bathroom depreciates home value.

Her oldest daughter literally lives with her, is in current videos, and he raised Gionni with her before they had the other kids. Yes she explained and has videos of the tough times but never said or expressed that he didnt like her😂 Gionni was raised by them, then old enough to live on her own- Shyvonne always said that when she lived in the smaller townhome (and she was visiting and in videos there with the family even when her ex husband was living there too) folks be making up stuff for what?
