Speaking was painful for me for more than 30 years, not to mention the discomfort that I suffered during speaking. By the way, I am a teacher who uses my voice a lot. I often experienced headache and stiffness around my neck. Then I came across Ingo Titze's video, and gave it a try. My life changed overnight! I started "speaking" correctly, speaking was easier, and headache disappeared. It's 2022 now, and for the last10 months, I have only got headache 3 times, and the rest was just amazing, no pain even after speaking for so many hours. I noticed my voice became a bit hoarse after a few hours, but there was no pain AT ALL.
I am grateful for people sharing information. thank you!
Thanks
Thank you ever so much!
Does the diameter of the straw matters?
1:56 who made that drawing?
Is it normal that I get a little bit dizzy when I do this because there's a vibration in my head?? Or is it just I'm doing it in a wrong way? Thank you.

My singing teacher makes me do some exercises with the straw and a bottle of half-full water, practically you have to make some vocalizations by "boiling" the water. If you plug your nose you should hear exactly the same sound. You can try..
