    Thank you for your work on Shakespeare ! I'm going to start my studies in France after the summer break, and my future English teacher recommended reading some plays by Shakespeare and some sonnets before the beginning of class. Watching your videos helps me actually understand what I'm reading :)

    I wonder, could he be talking to himself? I often write to myself when weighing extremely important options; sometimes as devil’s advocate? I will keep watching and see…. I think he could also be saying that the man’s beauty would be better used for passing it on than wasted AND despite being old and ugly his child will prove he was indeed once beautiful. Ty for this study!!❤

    I think the last this actually refers to his beauty, rather than the child, as his beauty is renewed by the child.
