Truly, thank you! I am a home bread maker, and I lived more than 20 years in Japan without bothering to figure out how they made such yummy bread (I had a very small oven, typical of a Japanese kitchen, and it was just as cost-effective (time incorporated) to buy my bread and bread products from numerous bakeries, some as close as 2 minutes from my front door). Your video not only is a great refresher course, but also gave me insight into the importance of the egg and milk additions. I use a super-powerful Ninja to make five loaves equivalent in five successive mixing, but I am checking out the Bosch products online. I don’t feed a large family, but this bread is very welcome at our weekly church potluck after service! Have you ever tried cooking small knobs of dough stuck on a stripped tree branch and held over a camp fire, like marshmallow roasting? Have a container of butter and homemade jam ready! It is such a yummy treat to enjoy outdoors! Love your videos and appreciate your sharing your life and insights.

Letting the dough sit to develop the flavour is absolutely the key. The “NY Times - No Knead Bread” is our go to recipe here in Australia! It sits overnight.

Thanks so much for sharing! My husband has been asking me to make bread for years and all of my attempts have been exhausting or just plain disappointing, until I tried your recipe! So tasty, bouncy, moist, and easy to slice too. ❤ I made three loaves yesterday and have a ton of dough left over it the fridge. I think I'll try cinnamon rolls and some kind of garlic herb bread with the remaining dough.

    Megan's Super Soft Homemade Bread
    Made in a Bosch Mixer
    3 Cups warm water
    3 Cups warm milk
    3/4 C softened butter
    3/4 C honey
    5 eggs
    2 Tablespoons active dry yeast
    2 Tablespoons salt
    13-16 cups flour
With dough hook and dough hook extender in place, add milk, water, butter, sugar, eggs, salt, about half of the flour, and the yeast into the mixing bowl. Use the “M” switch to incorporate. For enhanced flavor and texture, allow the paste to sit 30 minutes, until it becomes bubbly. Slowly increase to Speed 2 and continue adding remaining flour, a little at a time, until the dough pulls away from the sides of the bowl. You may not need all of the flour. Continue kneading at Speed 2 for 5-6 minutes until the dough is smooth and elastic. Lightly flour your hands and the counter. Divide dough into equal portions and shape into loaves. Place in greased loaf pans and let rise until doubled in size.
Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes or until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 190°F-200°F.
