I have a plus sign where you show the Camera and App icons. I am not sure when it happened but most of my favorite emojis are gone.

What I do now is click the plus sign, go down to “stickers” and the emojis that I want are in there.

I discovered there is no fix. The icon was moved in the last update. But, you can find it by hitting the ‘grayed out plus sign’ in a circle to the left of the chat bar.
