Me and my friend had a conversation and we decided the best way to make Magcargo better is by giving it a 240 base power move called Cataclysmic Volcano. 5pp, 100% accurate, Special move, dual type rock/fire, 100% burn chance, targets SpD or Def stat whichever is lower, summons sea of fire field condition, breaks screens, hits through protect, hits targets in the semi invulnerable turns of Fly, bounce, dig, etc., hits both opposing pokemon when used in doubles, ignores all stat changes, abilities, and items, and has a 75% confusion chance because of the sheer unexpectedness and absurdity of Magcargo using such a move.
I think the Fire type pokemon I'd most like to see get an evolution would be Rapidash, it always seemed like it should be better than it is, especially considering you encounter them on Victory Road in Kanto.
@@LordEmveeyes the Pegasus Idea is great considering the Galar version is a Unicorn. Fire Flying would be bad defensively but Offensive could be devastating. Brave Bird Flare Blitz with maybe Magic Guard would be dope

@@LordEmvee honestly I only use it to one shot gambit, since even if I flinch Dnite's extremespeed a couple times, upper hand just doesn't deal enough damage, so it's not very reliable on that scenario. Ice spinner might be better instead, and just work the team to try and deal with gambit before unleashing the duck. I wouldn't replace CC though, it's a must to deal with Ogerpon's absorb
@@angerim You could even go Ice Spinner over Upper Hand and Tera Ghost to be immune to Extreme Speed priority. You naturally resist Kingambit's Sucker Punch without tera so it's mainly be useful for Dragonite without needing Upper Hand
@@LordEmvee yeah I guess tera ghost + natural fighting should be enough to resist sucker punch and extremespeed, I was mostly using tera water just to kickstart the snowball, but after a couple of kills the bonus damage from tera matters very little. There's more than enough damage going on with crit+moxie lol, I'll experiment a bit with more defensive tera types too, ty for the tip!
This rocks. Blaziken is one of my favourite pokemon. They should give Torkoal an evolution where it becomes a hot spring geyser and becomes Fire/Water. In addition to things like stab scald being cool, it also makes Torkoal an eviolite mon.

I agree, I think some others I saw were hoping for a pegasus-inspired design for Rapidash evo/mega evo. Fire/Fairy would be amazing, the first of its kind. Speed Boost is an awesome ability for it. Levitate could also be cool to remove ground weakness (since it would be able to fly with wings).

Scream Tail is so fantastic. The typing is great, the moveset is great, the stats are great… such an incredible mon, it never disappoints
So versatile in what it can do it feels like a mew jirachi combination but faster and with a plethora of sets. One of my favs from this gen :)

I've seen Sniper Scope Lens Spine Shot Intelleon (50% crit chance) but I think I like this more! As for a Fire Type needing love, I'd say Pyroar.
