I read the books, and I believe in Martin's writing and facts, not in D&D's. In the books whatever Cersei does, she does for her sons. Of course she craves power. But she loves her children most. She's cruel, evil and corrupt, she's been involved in incestuous relation with her brother and she's monstrous to her enemies, but I still believe she's a better mother.

I wonder if that's a conscious decision, coached, or if he's just particularly sensitive to accents (especially as an actor)? I split my time between a Scandinavian country and my home country, and I do seem to have a different voice in both places because my speech is easily influenced. But honestly, who knows?
