- Tonight, you can't sleep because you can only listen to ASMR with your left ear or right ear either because your earphones or headphones are broken or because you may have some earing problems on one side? Don't worry, I've got you covered! I've recorded this video with one mic only. The resulted track was a mono track. So, even if only one side of your earphones is working, you should be able to enjoy this video and relax as everyone else :)

For those who haven’t figured it out, he’s recorded the audio in a mono format, which means all of the sound is going out of each earphone no matter where he’s recording from! Most asmr videos are some sort of stereo recording (stereo recording is more common for asmr since it gives a sort of spatial or dimensional sound).

Yeah but he doesn't need to do that, all electronic devices I've used allow me to change my output audio to mono. So a person with broken headphones or whatever could go to any of Pierre's videos and listen to it in mono

@@yeah.8382 I'm just trying to let people know, who might not, how they can change their audio output to be able to watch any asmr video.
If you go to settings (not the CZcams settings) click on “accessibility” in “general” scroll down until you find “mono-audio” turn that on and you can hear everything in one ear. Found this in a comment section of another video, hope it helps :)

@@andjela98 Nono they’re explaining how to hear all sounds in mono not how to hear half of the binaural sounds. Mono means it’s the same audio feed for both sides, so you will hear the left AND right sounds in the left and the right

I actually really recorded a "mono" video one or two years ago but the sounds weren't good and I didn't upload it. Anyway... Glad this helps! Have a great night ^^

I love these single mic videos, I don’t have broken headphones but I sleep on my side and it gets uncomfortable to wear an earbud if I’m laying on it so I just wear one but unfortunately i can only hear about half the video bc I’m only wearing one earbud. So this is the perfect video for this and it is amazing as always Pierre! Good night! 💤
You should be able to go into your device settings and under audio, switch output to mono. Thai will make both earbuds output the same sounds so you can listen to any asmr video just as well as this one

You can watch any asmr video with broken headphones just as well as this video. You should be able to go into your device's setting and under audio make output mono. That'll make the left and right earbud output the same sounds so you can watch any asmr video with broken earbuds

Been watching ASMR mostly without headphones for a while now, still love it. You don't get the intense tingles of course, but after over 6 years of consuming ASMR pretty much every night, they're a rarity anyway, even with the headphones. Without them, the relaxation and sleep inducing effect is still there and you get much more freedom of movement when you're trying to sleep (can't rest my head on its side with headphones on, even in ears don't work).

This mono audio surprisingly got me tingles than the usual asmr. Even tho my earphone are both working well but this is a new sensation for me.

Great video, Pierre. If anyone with broken headphones (such as myself) would like to watch other ASMR videos, that aren’t specifically made for people with broken headphones, then you should go into your settings, search for “Accessibility”, open that up, look for “Audio/Visual”, and then turn on “Mono Audio.” This makes all audio play on one headphone. (I am on iPhone 11, so I’m describing it how I know it).
If your phone allows it, the quickest way to find the setting is just to insert “Mono Audio” into the settings’ search bar. Happy sleeping! :)
