I remember when you guys were nervous about spending $600+ on all the Czech pottery from Finders Keepers. You’ve come so far since then!
That was still a fantastic haul! And our first $1k haul from Eric. Some of my fondest memories of growing the business.
Please light a fairie light, I have never seen one before. Thanks
Good for you, Andrew! If someone my age slips on an icy sidewalk and breaks bones we take much longer to mend than younger folks, so I really appreciate your civic mindedness.
Show more of hubby....he's adorable!
Met a woman at my Antique Mall booth and she said something that I thought interesting. She was raised in the glass areas on Virginia and West Virginia. She explained that the difficulty in knowing what glass was done where is because the blowers had a tendency to move around a great deal and for a variety of reasons, much none to savory.
This makes total sense. A blower could have very well blown the same design for upwards to 3, 4, sometimes more, companies in a year or two's time.
Thanks for sharing this. It makes sense.
Yeah Andrew! He’s a keeper! That winter painting is beautiful but such gorgeous glass pieces. I never knew that about the maker mark for Fenton. Pretty cool!
I love when Andrew makes a guest appearance.
It's always great to see Andrew! You two are the expert antique pickers of CZcams!
Ok, I am blown away, no pun intended, by that air balloon hanging lamp and have to know when you put it on ebay. I have a corner in my room with a puzzle that my 90 year old dad put together of hot air balloons going up in New Mexico in their balloon fest each year, we had it framed. I've been looking for a hanging hot air balloon lamp for that corner every since. This is the one!!☺
Dolls like Shirley Temple came with hair nets back in the day. Collectors like that because it keeps the hair in place but kids tended to remove the nets right away.
Hi Jocelyn, today I came across a vintage Lenox Nassau set of four ashtrays in original green box at the local charity shop, for £5,and as you would say" no chips or flaws". Definitely worth venturing out on a bitter cold Northern England day.
Creepy dolls for the win! They were freaking amazing. Loved the pottery cat container also. Great fun!
Who needs GW when you bring home the really good stuff from auctions! Also loved seeing a bit of Andrew along with you Joselyn. You scored some really cool pieces and creepy dolls.
Loved the haul, also so love that Andrew is in the videos so much more frequently. Love him. So knowledgeable and I love the interaction between the two of you, as well as with Dagny. I feel like there have been a lot of changes at the shop, I see a lister that I have never seen before, a man; are Deena and I believe Amy still listing? With Walter at his grandparents, is Kate doing all the shipping.? Just curious about how many employees you have now. Also, where is Eric? Have not seen him in forever. I love the shop videos!
We have Angela, Deena, and Tim listing from the shop. Kate and Andrew have both picked up the shipping. I just talked to Eric today about a piece we got from auction. I promised to visit him at the flea when it warms up a smidge.
@@CrazyLampLady Thanks Jocelyn. I feel like you are all friends! You are the first reseller I found on CZcams and I have watched all your videos for at least 2.5 years. When I first found you, I binge watched all your preceding videos and never miss one now. Love your channel!
I like hearing Andrew describe his stuff, there’s so much joy in his voice.
You both just amaze me. Your knowledge base and your ability to share it. I just love you Jocelyn, and think you a joy and light. What I like about Andrew is the passion for the pieces he shows. Thanks for sharing these experiences. God bless. Have a blessed week!!! 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡
I like the glass, but I'm always drawn to the unique art pottery pieces. You scored some gorgeous pieces! Thanks so much for sharing! 💙
The large black and white cat jar with the lid is by my friend, Florida artist Ana Varela. I wonder how it got up to PA? I have one that I keep my cat’s ashes.
There are too many goodies to talk about all of them. I enjoyed this video a lot. Andrew had me smiling with that old man bottle opener.😂 Love the little yellow glowing shoes, the painting,Fenton hat, green opalescent glass, cobalt vase,Shirley temple💜, green tumbler, the egg and so much more!💜💜💜
Love that painting in the beginning 😍 and oh, those glass baskets, so cool. I have all my carnival glass packed away in the basement.
Who can see it there?
I love the cat you said was delightful. It really is a cool cat.🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾😊
WOW Great haul. Lovely taste, the little pink glass basket would be great with a small diamond trinket in it for Valentine's day.
That poor doll at 13.50😲 She has SEEN some things for sure🤣
Such beautiful items! Sure wish I could find glass like that here. The doll with Shirley Temple reminds me of Heidi
Hey Jocelyn! This is Cathy, not Jeff. I just love you and your eclectic taste level. You love everything from sweet, delicate glass and perfumes all the way to awesome, unusual art pottery, and more. You have a great eye for picking! Thanks for bringing us along on your interesting adventures. 😃
The other doll makes me think of the book and/or movie Heidi.
Was just coming to say the same thing. Shirley Temple played Heidi as well.
Love the hot air balloon!!! 😲🥰 and perfume bottle!!!
One of my favorite videos in a long time. I watch to wind down, & it seems the Goodwills are a bit frenetic lately. Probably just cyclical. I envy your access to so much interesting merchandise. I'd have to drive a thousand mi to find similar merch.
The creepy doll at about13:25 looks like a Bye lo doll . They can be very valuable. I winced when you put her back in the box. Their heads are very fragile. My friend kept breaking her dolls' head when we were little (in the 50s) and her mother would send it off for repairs. Thank you for the great video
That blue plate with the white flower is Cathrineholm..worth some $$$ jealous lol
Allyson you took the words right out of my mouth. 7k is a lot but you guys know what you are doing. Kudos to you and andrew for all your endless work paying off. Seems like you are vfc still having fun and that's the name of the game
I'm going to Israel in the Spring. Going to look for that Lapid pottery piece!!!!
Is the painting Wyeth assisted?? Woah if it is! The "M" marked round pot looks like Miro! Again WOW!
Shirley Temple has a "hair net" covering her hair. It was used to hold the hair in place. All the women wore them and you can still buy them as they are used in some food handling services.
Great auction haul! Glad to hear you laugh.
Catherineholm lotus plate in teal! ✨
Gorgeous piece! I’m so used to the black and white or green & white. Have you seen the teal before? I think I squeaked when she showed it, lol!
The vase with abstract images remind me Joan Miro’s paintings
Hell yeah!! Jocelyns here to take me for my shopping trip of the day and I just self medicated with some Blue razz and I'm ready to go!! 😊😉
Big blue enamel plate is the lotus pattern by Cathrineholm. Very collectible
Also she put that blue plate on top of her car keys- I hope she found them! 😆
I think they meant “Max Weyl” on the back of that painting.
Wow! Amazing auction haul full of beautiful pieces! I need your cheerfulness always. Love your personality plus! So much fun going through your auction haul with you. So many pieces I wish I could purchase. Always look forward to your videos! Enjoy Andrew's in sight also! Thank you both! Way to go in your precious treasures!
Bahahahaha! We were bidding at the same auction! Actually, thought of you and Andrew when I went to preview! HiBID was so frustrating that day, site was absolutely wonky! Glad you were able to get what you wanted!
The following day, we were bidding on a different auction and a few of Andrew’s bids weren’t applied and he lost items. He was not a happy camper.
Wow, you got some amazing pieces! love it!
Oh that glass is amazing
Such an amazing haul - can't wait to watch these pottery pieces get listed!
Love the pottery hot air balloon totally cool
That Shirley doll will still make you some money even though she needs restrung.
Love, Love, Love!!! Amazing taste, woman!! 😍🤩
Really enjoyed your haul video. Loved the blue Fenton and the ceramic cat.
Incredible load of goodies!
So much beautiful Fenton love it .
Love the blue vase that you liked. You always find the beautiful items.
That cookie jar looks likes Ana Varela pottery. 💜 love her work
You have such a good eye! I love all of the Fenton and custard glass
Love watching your daily videos. Wish I could afford to buy everything!!!
painting , the first one, reminds me of where I was raised in Northern New Jersey...beautiful!
Great stuff, thanks for sharing.
I always wonder why so many people watch the videos, but are not clicking the like button. What does it take for someone to just click the button. I think more people should be doing just that.
" If nothing else , be kind."
A good thing to keep in mind.
Jocelyn, I totally relate to how you’re drawn to dolls. I still love dolls and never really outgrew my love of them. While I don’t “play dolls” anymore 😉, I did outgrow that 😆I have a few modest collections of various types. I love China Heads (these were most popular from like mid to late 1800s and beyond.) I have a couple of genuine petite ones that are damaged, (they’re filled with sawdust) but I still love them anyway. I also have some reproduction ones that are older but not antiques and that I could actually afford. The authentic China Heads in good shape can be hundreds or even thousands of dollars…because you then get into the beautiful and very expensive ones made in France & Germany. I also have a small collection of the Nancy Ann Storybook dolls because my name is Nancy, middle name Ann, so why not? I got mine for pretty cheap and they didn’t come with their original boxes or anything. Some of these dolls can go for hundreds of dollars, but I just can’t see paying that much for them and they are on the small side 6 - 8 inches, were mass produced and made of plastic…very vintage, yes, but still plastic. You can still find some here and there for under $10 or $20.😊
Love some of your treasures very beautiful. The paintings are very pretty .Thank u for sharing💞
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE !!! The hot air balloon PLEASE PUT ON Ebay! I have to have it!!! I have an obsession with hot air balloons!
So many beautiful things but my gosh your desk is stunning. Looking forward to seeing you use it x
Growing up we used to have one of those bubblehead bottle opener😃
Amazing things. You should do really well with this haul. That silver bar is so cool...........................
Wonderful haul. I always enjoy your videos when you get spendy. And this one did not disappoint.
Love the chocolate molds!!!!
Hate those blue baby dolls big time!
You are both such a wealth of knowledge 😊😊
Lot of good spring colors!.🌼🌺🌷☘🍀
Have you shown us the mug coffee cup you bought for yourself that you will be using every day because of how much you spent? I’m curious😁
Great auction haul! Congrats
The one doll looks like Heidi.
I think Shirley Temple played Heidi in one of her movies.
I think the lily pad piece with the spout is a birdbath. People love their birds and fish. I dont think it's a fish bowl. It's too shallow. Great auction haul.
So many amazing pieces. Nice haul. You guys did good!!
I love the blue vase with flowers, I am terribly Miffed that I am Sooooo far away that I cannot even bid because shipping that would be murder. I am in the Philippines, see. Whattodo?? 😢
I saw so many things in this video that I’d love to own.
I really love the glass jackpot???
I am IN LOVE with the hot air balloon pottery piece! I didn't see very much of it, but from what I could see, it is really cool! :) I love art pottery though, it is my #1 collection!! :)) xo
FENTON!!! Yippee!! But what auction are you selling at? For those of us who live across from you! I sure would like a chance at those two shelves of auction glass!!
I’m so sad Walter is going!!
Angela
I always enjoy your videos you do such a good job I just enjoy watching you
Some fantastic items! Love the desk. And some of the pottery!!! 🥰
My daughter would love that creepy looking doll!
The cat!!
Right? 😂
I love all your videos . Beautiful pieces are good for the soul .
The doll with all those curls if you haven't found out already is actually a Shirley Temple doll
You guys got some fantastic things!
I love the pink melon vase and the pink glass kitty, the pink Fenton and the bunny kane..And that gold Barbera S. piece♡ Beautiful stuff!
Great haul! (Except for the creepy dolls..They kinda freak me out😅)
Love love all your auction prizes
I like the rabbit mold.
I've sold some Follette crystalize pottery in the past! Love all the auction finds. Wish we had auctions like that around here!
My mom always wanted a Shirley Temple doll.
The black head with the funny expression reminds me of these stress balls my daughter insisted on getting, various coloured baby heads with different strange expressions on their faces. They weren’t cheap for stress balls lol!
Designed by Makiko Yoshida, Cao Maru are hilarious and original stress balls that let you relieve tension while expressing emotion in the balls themselves.
Hot.Air.Balloon. ~~~~~~~😎😍🥰
Just stumbled upon you! Love watching you.
Totally would have bought that project Shirley Temple Doll ! It's all my 89 year old gram talks about !!! I think the story goes , her grandmother threw it away ,because she said she was no longer a little girl 🥺😥😢😭
I remember useing tumble-ups as a kid. I should go back to it.
Love the new stuff you are getting. What are you doing with allllllll the other stuff in your shop?
Listing it. 🤷🏼♀️
The Fenton took my breath away..
🤔 where is Walter and Eric? 🤷🏼♀️ I just realized, I haven't seen them lately 😕
Walter is in Philadelphia with his grandparents. Eric is MIA although Jocelyn said she spoke to him recently and will visit him at the flea market when the weather is warmer.
Haven’t seen Eric lately - hope he’s ok?
Jocelyn said in another comment that they had just talked & as soon as it warms up a bit she will take us to the flea market to "see" him! 🥰
The dolls and that weird baby head with the fork thing are super creepy! I’d leave that stuff there😵💫
Noooooooo! Loved listening and seeing all your auction purchases and then I think your new desk was carried past the camera, (nearly the end) and it cut off. I was waiting for you to tell us about the new desk, age, style, materials and excitement of finding your desk…..and we got nothing, !1 what a disappointment.!!
It’s shown in today’s video.
11.28 I believe Royal Worcester call that colour “Blush” when they use it.
