- Since the release is finally here for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare I thought I would give my honest thoughts about the full game as it currently stands within release week. I apologize for this being a longer video but I wanted to make sure I was able to talk about all the things I wanted to at my own pace. This commentary was recorded on November 7th during the release week of Infinite Warfare.

Campaign- OK, I can fuck with it.
Zombies-Ehhh, I don't know......
Multiplayer- What the actual fuck.
Zion Daily-Lee I'd say that campaign: better than the past 2 games. zombies: feels like treyarch zombies but different. multiplayer: bo3 with better balancing.
Zion Daily-Lee campaign was 10x better than bo3 campaign and I can tell they worked their asses off for campaign its good. Zombies feels somewhat different than treyarch but they have a lack of the in dept of the story than what treyarch did with zombies. Multiplayer is just uncomplete like over time it might be better but I will say I enjoy IW than bo3 100% and also how IW doesn't have the stupidest bugs like bo3 with gamechat lags the game or closing the game to invite people like I'm glad Infinity ward didn't had those issues.
NightSkull720 I agree with most of what you said, I just think that bo3 is a better overall game.
Zion Daily-Lee I just hate the bugs and glitches bo3 had and it made me stop playing bo3 because of how treyarch can't patch something so simple basically.

Im enjoying Infinite Warfare,yes there are things that do make me mad or annoyed,just like 98% of all video games, Im really enjoying IW,although the one thing that really makes me amd is that I get salvage really slowly and its very hard to get the epic variants of guns.

Spawns are shit
Guns are okay (AR's are dominant I don't really like that)
Maps are okay sometimes can be a bit bland
Smaller the map the shittier the spawns
Rigs are fine
GUI is bullshit, what is the point if calling cards if you can't see them in pre game lobbies

Perk 2 is useless
Perk 1 has the two crush perks you need (Ghost and Dex)
Perk 3 is also useless (unless you play SnD or in pubs with sound whores)
Classic weapons are okay
The prestige emblems looks like a 15 year old who can use photoshop made all ten of them in an hour
You only unlock an extra slot to put an extra class in every 2 prestiges (which is Bullshit imo)
Spawns are shit
Energy weapons are better than reg weapons in every class
If you kill someone turn around because 3 other people have spawned in every doorway to prevent your escape
Spawns are shit
Use ghost and a silencer
Breakout is a really shitty map
Spawns are shit
The mission teams are okay
Getting salvage is way too slow
Getting keys is way too slow
Even with the season pass it's still slow af

Who know that movie Live. Die. Repeat. With Tom Cruise? Thats what this game feels like except its Live. Kill the guy who spawned in front of you. Turn around and kill the guy who spawned behind you. Die. Repeat.

I feel like I'm the only person who enjoys IW more than MWR.
Benito I love both. MWR might just eke out ahead though, because nothing beats slinking aroung the edges of Bog with an M40A3
so why not just play the original MW1 then?
I've played infinite warfare way more than the re-master but I played the original of it mainly for campaign so I don't have that need to play it as much, I enjoy the PvE just a bit more than the PvP side.

Maybe it is as bad as you say, but I don't see the pay to win aspect, as you cant buy anything with cash yet unless they added it and I'm unaware, and as for tmartn saying that, its like when ppl saw the trailer, the go along with everyone and don't have their own opinion. I like it, and to me that's what matters, to each their own.

I want them to add the ability to enable or disable weapons, equipment, perks, payloads, traits, scorestreaks, etc in Custom Games like we could in BO3. Custom games in BO3 were much more fun because of the whole 'Ban/Protect' system. I want something like that for custom games. Anyone agree?

Robin Wells Its sad nobody wants to enjoy this game because apparently every turns i to a game developer as soon as they play this game. Instead of enjoying the game everyone wants to judge it and say that this isn't good or this isn't right. Everyone wants this to be perfect, everyone wants this game to be their way with everything in their favor. The call of duty community is sad because back in 2007-2012 nobody was judging the game and saying how this should be perfect or this should be that way. Everyone was just playing the game enjoying the experience that call of duty has brought to them. The cod community nowadays has forgotten how to enjoy a game like they did back im 2009. Now Everyone in the cod community wants to judge it with the highest possible standards looking for a perfect game when call of duty has never even been perfect in the first place.
The call of duty will never be the same with everyone constantly looking for every bad thing or flaw this game has and instantly wants to quit this game. Because i can tell. Right now noooo call of duty had EVERRR been perfect. Everyyy call of duty has always had flawsss especially the older call OF duties

The thing I noticed that no one seems to be discussing is small maps like genesis being wayyyyyyy to close quarters. From the beginning of a match, I see the enemy within 5-6 seconds. That should even exist in such a fast paced game.

Well, Rust and Nuketown have been the most iconic maps, and the most disliked map is Stonehaven, one of the biggest maps in a CoD game.
Random Cyborg Gorilla Nuketown was balanced though, and Genesis is a remake that didnt have this issue in Ghosts. I understand exo suits are in play but my issue is what was IW thinking when they tested this map? What went through the head when they first played it and saw the enemy in 3 seconds and how fast the spawns flipped.It makes no sense whats so ever.

You should've mentioned how they completely stripped down Custom Games: The total player limit (real players and bots combined) is 12 players, u can't put pick-17 on custom classes

Since the first call of duty to CoD ghosts it was boots on the ground. Advance warfare came out and a few months later everyone complained about, even through it's change that the franchise needed and the community started asking for. Three
3-D movement games, and now everyone wants to go back to boots on the ground. I do like the Call of duty games, but the community need to sort out what the F*** they want to see in the game. I'm NOT hating on Prestige or anyone just making a point.

I never wanted COD to go to space. The future was okay in Advanced Warfare, but went overkill in BO3 and IW in my opinion. I think advanced movements need to go and return the series back to MW or BO1 era (Vietnam, Middle East... whatever.) If I wanted future I would play Halo or Titanfall

I surprisingly like IW, i got it for mwr, but didn't play it so far. I tried IW and im still at it (just lv 19 now) I have to disagree on your ghosts syndrome. Its often because the opponent has a better variant, which motivates me to grind harder and try to get them aswell. Also, where is the fun if you get 500 salvage daily? Thats almost 3 common guns a day! Further i have to say, nice review. and gg on getting to 2nd prestige already!

This game is the most bipolar game. You can either go 50-12 or go 12-50 depending on connection, depending on randomness of spawns, depending on who is running what op rig

So for the daily log in bonus, I was thinking they could do a calendar where each month (and you could view it in the menus) you would get rewards everyday and each day the reward would be a bit better and on the last day of the month, you could get a bad ass epic variant or a huge salvage bonus.

You have some very valid points, personally I am really enjoying the game and I think it is a step up from black ops 3 but I have always liked infinity wards games more(and yes I even liked ghosts) there are issues they need to fix but I think the game is off to a very good start

My opinion but bo3 was solid and treyarch did great for a futuristic call of duty. If the supply drops were less bullshit, it would be much better

Eh, I just feel like Sledgehammer put out an unfinished and a very luck based game. Plus, most people who really enjoyed the game enjoyed the Bal-27, most likely the Obsidian Steel or Inferno variant, and ruined everyone else's experience. One thing I really like about AW is the weapon variety, and if all weapons were available and not tucked behind Supply Drops, I would've enjoyed the game way more. BO3 was a solid shooter, once again corrupted by the supply drops keeping additional content behind either the mundane grind or hundreds of dollars. A thing with BO3 was that it didn't offer a lot of variety, and the whole "Custom Variants" was a flop when it's pretty much create a class, but just on a single weapon. IW just released, and I haven't bought it, but I've been hearing mixed reviews.
TL;DR, AW has a step up on BO3 in some aspects, and vice versa. I haven't played IW, but it seems ok.
Same problem to me, I would shoot first and get turned on, didn't notice it in ghosts which I master prestiged but definitely noticed it here and Black Ops III.

The aim assist in this game coupled with slightly worse hit detection and the clusterfuck maps makes this game reAlly annoying to play at times
And defensive play is almost impossible coz of so many small pathways these stupid Smg players take

This game would be good if the spawns weren't so fucked up. I die from behind every death and almost every 10 seconds. And I'm happy to know im not the only one that shoots someone 1000000 times and it's like shooting cotton balls at someone then they shoot you 3 times in the foot and your dead. If people died and didn't fucking kill me from behind every death and every second and an option to not play with this shit movement other than that this game would be pretty awesome

Micah Klein No that's called a crappy lag comp system. It's completely crap. If you shoot first and your shots are on target, you should kill them 99% of the time. It's not being bad, it's the games crappy lag comp system

Spawns are difficult because maps are too small. Too much rotations. But for the salvage it's suppose to be that way so ppl are able to buy weapons.
It's simple. cod is stupid and dead now.

wow , what a toned down review. Salvage system is so slow the next cod will be out before the normal player can unlock any gun completely. The fact that iw had three years to make this game but couldn't implement basic functions like leaderboards that is embarrassing. Spawns are so chaotic I wonder sometimes if the game throws a quarter on the map to see where you spawn. If you don't like something don't say it's "weird" say the truth.

im glad they did that with spawn traps in dom, if they had a friend on the other team, that one person can lay down at the back and your whole team is screwed!
The terrible spawns are not limited to domination, all team based game modes have the most random spawns, so crazy that when you're about to kill 3 people the first person that you killed will have spawned almost next to where he died so by the time you killed the 3'rd the first one will be able to kill you. This is not even limited to certain sides of the map, this can happen in the MIDDLE of the map. They really need to fix their "spawning logic" and I'm using the term logic very loosly here
What about the single player? Personally I'm really enjoying it, lots of value there
