Although the percentage of finding one is pretty low you can actually fish a Dragonite from a rippling spot at the Dragon Spiral Tower with a super rod
Not worth it, because you can just grind Dratini for two levels.
That is such a weird mental image. You're just chilling on the water, casting your line into this little ripple and pull up a huge ass dragon.

Really? 147 attack on Haxorus seems plenty high enough for me. I watched FSG's video on Haxorus and it definitely seemed like one.
Individual attack stat is great! To be a pseudo legendary you must be a non legendary with a base stat total of 600. I think only slaking is an exception due to its truant ability. Pseudo legendaries are: Dragonite, Tyranitar, Metagross, Salamence, Garchomp, hydreigon, Goodra, Kommo-o, Dragapult. I did make the mistake thinking Haxorus was a pseudo as well my first play through tho..

So you’re telling me, that it took you 14 hours in the first section compared to my 40 HOURS? Well that’s amazing actually and yeah training them up is hard. What was the hardest part of the whole challenge? My was finding the evolution stones in wellspring cave.
That didn't actually take too long since I did a bit of save scumming for it, which worked out. However, I think the swarm Pokemon were the most annoying.
Finally. the best generation imo. i love the videos.

ENDER BOY0725 sorry kid, I can tell you're young so don't take this personally, only here for advice :). Your spelling is a bit off, it's "semi" not samy, and it's haxorus but that's not spelling that's a pokemons name so it doesn't count as a spelling error. GJ on pseudo spelling tho

The Deino line is named after the first three German numbers, so every "ei" is pronounced like the "ei"s in "Einstein". Additionally, the "zw" in Zweilous is pronounced like "sv".
I'm from germany and the zw in zwei is actually pronounced as a zw not a sv. But I don't know if they changed the pronounciation because english speaking people could have a problem with that.
And Deinos name is a bit wrong because one in german is eins. But Deinso would have sounded terrible so I guess that's why they left out the s 😅🤣

And the "zw" in "zwei" is pronounced "sv" as we in [English-speaking places] would say it. I have yet to hear any Germans say it like "zw" as we in [places] would say it, though it'd be interesting to be proven wrong, as I've only been a 4-year German student.
@@snbeast9545 in the german version we also have the dino part in Duodino. It's the german name for Zweilous. I really love Hydreigons name. In germany it's called Trikephalo, which does not sound as cool as Hydreigon.

@@magdamalerowicz1839 the starting section is horrendous. Took me 90 hours to do it due to bad pick up luck (albeit there was a bit of idle time) but also the exp scaling is awful for the challenge.

@@dagothcharles2044 The 1% ones were brutal but you can check them while you level up and evolve and I got pretty lucky with them so it didn't take me too long on the sections where they appeared. Also since they're found when you arrive in the routes above Nimbasa you have other things to do such as the battle stations and join avenue.
This is personally my favorite generation of the Pokemon games! So nice to see a Professor Oak Challenge of this game!
I believe in terms of the math, 4 pickup lillipups 1 vital spirit is the fastest for pre badge 1, so you still have an incentive to grind those. It just means you don't have to bother with any further pickup grinding post badge 1, such as getting lv 41s or replacing the lillipup that evolved.

I didn't even know Vital Spirit had an out of battle effect, been grinding pokemon to get through the fourth gym section for this challenge and never knew that you could use it to find higher leveled pokemon! Glad to know now though before things would get too extreme in the challenge ooP-

White 2 is my favourite game in pokemon! It was my first game and my game with an almost complete pokedex(I got an almost complete pokedex like 500 plus before the wifi connection shut down). I can't wait to see you do it! My first shiny was a hardier I caught on route 2! 417 hours was a lot of time. I miss those simple days.

you could mix it up like a first form ghost pokemon challenge or a "YOU" pick a team thing. set up a Livestream or poll on twitter or something and ask people what gen and with the team thing ask on twitter " hey what pokemon should I use on a team in insert pokemon game I think that would be fun and even more inclusive way of video creation! this is just a suggestion.

For anyone wondering what the appearing texts such as the one at 2:25 are, he is using an emulator called DeSmuMe, and the texts are commands in the program such as save states and setting changes.
Gen 5 is notorious for crashing on emulator, so I usually end up using save states so I don't have to waste time manually saving and so I don't lose progress, since I've lost progress on Gen 5 saves before and it drives me bonkers lol

How comes the dex count says 332 when your save file says 386 in the video??
On the save screen, it show how much pokemon youve seen not caught, like previous games. 386 is how much hes seen but 332 is how much he caught

So the post-game withheld over half of the regional dex. Would have been nice to have had those available in the main game, not so much for the player's sake but to fix the recurring problem these games have had since at least gen 3: enemy trainer Pokémon variety.

In white 2 you can get a level 25 braviary with its hidden ability in the desert. I have one and he's my favourite pokemon I own.

Got a challenge for you, beat HG or SS with HM slave team (whole team has to be able to use minimum 2x HM and those moves HAVE to be used in every battle, for all damage purposes)
