That was a T6 PX1 to T6 PX2 conversion. It's not a T6 to T7 conversion.

No problem mate I was in the same position as you got the truck then kept seeing the newer front then one come up in the same couloir and had to do it 💪
The whole Px1-3 Generation is on the T6 platform lol, even the new 22 gen is....

They go on anything mate just need a roof rack and you can always remove it if you’re not using it

Now you've got me convinced. I am driving a totaled 2015 PX1 or i guess you call it a T6 . It was zip tied together by the last owner. Now the front grill is almost falling out, the lights are faded. the front bumper look very old. And the paint is chipping. So I am gonna start collecting all the parts for this conversion.
Great new content lads love the conversion did one my self on a 2014 ranger last year looks so much better with a facelift, have a good xmas boys 👊

How dis you get on with bonnet latch mate as it dosent boot on and cable to short
Hey guys! I did the facelift, but i have a problem with the headlights, they stopped working and BCM starting to stop/change them like a Christmas tree :)) What kind of canbus did u used? Can you give me some instructions to trick the bcm system? Thanks! P.S i changed the stop lights (exactly like yours)

Brilliant! 🤩 I did this to my 2012 during lockdown, definitely a big improvement over the earlier front end. 👍 You’re right about all the extra little bits you also need to do it properly.
My next step is to devise a way to get the very latest LED headlights to work as the halogens aren’t that great. 🤞😁

There just plug and play the rear lights
@@richardstokes2209 is the wiring loom behind the fuel cap / chassis
@@garypryor3799 it’s at the back underneath behind the rear bumper on the underneath the tub there is x2 plugs on the loom for the rear lights if you remove rear lights follow the light lome you will find the plugs

All depends on if you buy new £2000 to £3000 I’d budge parts and paint

How did u get on with those new waterproof type plugs chaps ?? I found them crap the connectors rattle and lose connection luckily my worse is only oil level check

Yes there not the best as they can pull apart but I put a load of electricl tape round it but we will see

Thanks mate and no wasn’t going to as all the plugs for all the different switch’s and that will be different and be a complete nightmare had anuff of a challenge with the headlights lol

Most are Ford but arches and rear lights and grill are aftermarket
do you have a link for the bulbs as i had this issue with bcm unit and cost me 600 quid would like to know what bulbs your using thanks also great work looks wicked!
Unfortunately not, we had to just fit the standard bulbs back in (which are awful), as the LEDs kept messing up the BCM system. We may do a follow up video if we can get them to work though!
Thanks Lads, just about to do this myself. Other than the bonnet latch and washer jets, is there anything extra i need?
Basically you need to order x2 bumper headlight brackets what bolt onto front frame you can get away with not running them
Then the bonnet latch you use the t6 latch as the t7 is completely different and doesn’t bolt on and pull cable for bonnet release and open bonnet sensor are all different so you have to modify the t6 latch.
how I did it was re drilled the t6 latch so it sits 10/15mm higher then you use the t7 bonnet part that goes into the latch but it’s a thicker gage steel so it is to fat for the latch so I just ground down to the same gage as the t6 then the bonnet catch will work you can also us some washers as fine tuning on the bonnet side to space it down
If you’re t7 bonnet comes with the jets your fine it will plum up with pipe but if not the t6 jets are completely different and won’t work on t7 bonnet
The t7 also uses bonnet struts and not a bonnet stay but I still use the t6 bonnet stay I will fit the struts at a later date

Where i can get bodykit T7 like this for my T6??
I’ve just brought the same grill for my 2017 ranger, it fits fine except for the bottom part of the grill doesn’t clip in. There like 3 plastic tabs, did you guys drill screws through the plastic tabs to hold them to the bumper?
Edit: finished watching the vid, and you’ve done a great job. Any ideas where I can buy to big Ford letter for the front grill? As mentioned I have the the same grill but need the letters
Mine come with the front end I bought it has x2 self tapper screws in the bottom that have been fitted so you might have to do the same and the Ford logo is fixed already on mine but have no idea where it was from hope that helps 👍
@@richardstokes2209 appreciate that mate thanks, yea it came about a dozen or so screws so I did think it might be something like that. I’ve managed to find some FORD letters online for £30 they have screw holes in the back but I’ll need to find some sort of retaining clips from somewhere. I personally think this style of grill is far better than the wildtrak or raptor one. The only thing I’m not too keen on is how far it sticks out. From the front it looks great but from the side I my kinda gives it a big nose lol
I’ve seen a small few colour match the trim of the grill to the truck which looks pretty smart

How did you get on with bonnet catch mate
Use the t6 catch and you have to shave the t7 latch on bonnet as it’s to wide to fit into catch but once you reduce the width it fits 👍
Did you guy do led bulb conversion or the newer front end yet iv just brought a 2012 with a 2016 conversion but the lights are rubbish at night I wonna upgrade the bulbs but people saying it blows the bcm
The front end I got had led bulbs fitted and it made my bcm turn the lights off so I had to fit the standard bulbs and use a code reader to go into bcm and rest and like you say the lights are shocking what I think I am planning to do is fit the mustang headlights that are led but have something in them to trick the bcm as I have led rear lights that do the same thing and have not given me any trouble
@@richardstokes2209 cheers for the reply richard so with the headlight bulbs can i still change the side light bulbs fog light bulbs and projector bulbs all to led just not the other bulbs that are none projector
@@theanton9633 yes if it’s fused at the fuse board you should be fine if it’s through the bcm or cambus system it can play up but the other way to get round this is if the led has a resistor in and tricks the bcm and cambus system as I have fitted led rear lights with no problem as they have resister in to trick the car this is also the same when I get some aftermarket front lights like the mustang headlights they all work as they have the resister in hopefully that all makes sense 🙈😂

Get all the parts from Ford or second hand and there is company’s that do the arch kits and we only do our own cars 👍

The front end is all Ford parts so you can get them second hand or new the arch kit a lot of companies do them for the ranger all you need to convert to t7 is bonnet x2 wings bumper x2 headlights front grill x2 headlight supports you have to modify bonnet catch and the t7 bonnet uses gas struts instead of bonnet stay but you can use either also you have to wire in some of the t6 lights to t7 headlights just the dipped and main beam and sidelights it is not a hard conversion if you know how to us a spanner you will be fine
