The reason why fat transfer is a better option for anti-aging is that it requires little to no maintenance and you will look the same year after year. She looks great Dr. Karam. Who would believe she had fat transfer nine years ago. She looks wonderful and what a great job. I really have to give this some thought now. I never even thought about it before and did not know one could have that done like that. You are a great surgeon for sure.
Fat transfers are the way to go. I wish I had known how good a fat transfer is before I spent any money on fillers. Over time you can end up spending more money than if you would have just gotten the fat transfer.
I'm going for consultation for fat transfer end of April. To a board certified plastic surgeon. I can't wait.
@@julielee8651 I hope it comes out well. I had gotten filler for this small wrinkly spot right under my eyesocket a few times but it would not go way, the filler did nothing for it. Fst Fwd About a month ago, I was having this conversation with a friend, and it occurred to me I have not seen that spot in a while...so I got the mirror out to double check and it is GONE, it is amazing. The fat transfer was over a year ago for me.
Now I wonder where the filler has floated to in my face. :/

The description box says she got her FFT in her 30s, but in the video, he corrects himself after saying she got it in her 30s to saying she got it in her 20s. So what's the real age bracket here? If she got it in her 30s and in the video, this is her in her 40s, that really is an insanely good result.

Well he didn’t actually correct himself in regards to this young lady…sounds like he was speaking in general….but her age is never known so we need to know her age and what age when she got the surgery.
She did it in her 20s. It’s been 10 years so she’s now in her 30s.

I agree with the first comment, it’s very deceiving because a video will claim it’s an update on fat grafting but it’s actually the results of multiple procedures along with annual procedures. So it’s not just grafting. It’s usually a lift, grafting laser annually . So ur talking a very big financial investment as well

@@marianneotott3071 you've got to remember she's been going to him for 10 years... so technically she hasn't given her face the time to naturally age. It would have been helpful if we did see a pic of her when she first arrived ro him (10 years ago)... if she still looks the same now as then, then he is doing a great job with her, because we all know that 10 years will somehow age us... yes makeup and lighting has helped here as well, that was a pro pic that was taken of her qe can all see that.

This specific surgeon charges $70,000-150,000+ for this procedure 😅 I was interested in it myself so contacted the clinic and those are the prices . Which I mean makes sense I've never seen someone look like the aged 15 years younger and look so natural, he's one of the most talented surgeons I've seen. I hope this method becomes more popular and normal among the years and eventually becomes more common practice and gets cheaper 🤞🙏🙏

Hello. I lost weight very quickly and with that my cheeks dropped. On my face there is a lot of "Chinese mustache" due to the dropping cheek. When I pull the skin above the cheek up a little and it is supported, the Chinese mustache is no longer noticeable as much (or almost not at all). With this technique is it possible to lift the fallen cheek, and keep it in the place where it was previously?
Check endoscopic mid facelift . You can add temprol lift with the same insicion. The insicion in hidden on the hair above your temple. You can get fat added to cheeks aswell for more volume.
What can cause a fat transfer to not last well. I've had two and one lasted really well and one was already going down after 6 months. Gone in a year. I'm just curious if it is the surgeon doing it that makes the difference. BTW, the result for this patient was ideal. She looks great.

that’s because she also gets injectables done by him. on her instagram, she has stated she gets botox on her forehead and jaw which needs to be refilled every six to eight months.

But fat transfers can move from what I've found. A lot of patients are not happy with fat transfers over time because it moves where it wants and cannot be forced to stay in one spot.

You could also look at plasmasculpt/PRF. Dr. Rajani of Portland Oregon does it. He has a CZcams channel all about rejuvenating the undereye.

Tell her to inject prp first. Fillers will just move over time and be bumpy and gross. Things that work cost money unfortunately.

Seems you might be lying a little bit here? These exact same images on RealSelf claim this patient was 28 years old at the time of the procedure, where here you say she had the procedure "in her 30s back in 2012". There are a few other discrepancies and you don't have any good reviews for facial fat grafting on RealSelf - to the contrary, only poor ones. I would be weary of believing this video. No other plastic surgeon will claim that the fat grafts just "stay there and don't change" over 9 years, as a woman exits her 30s. This is a sales pitch, and a poorly-researched one at that. At least don't contradict information you published via your own RealSelf account.

I want to do a fat transfer, but I'm a pro bodybuilder & very lean female. Do you think it's possible to find some fat on me to do this procedure? I'm around 12% BF & will be lower soon for my show :)
I'm nobody to tell you this, but as a female, that 12% is probably highly essential fat on you... I don't think surgeons would want to dig into that, they would just tell you to gain x amount of fat. But here's the thing, I presume you have to keep that weight on in order to enjoy all of the results, if you lose it back, I think you undo some of the results. I'm in a situation where the amount of fat I'd have to gain is out of my set range, so now I'm now researching if there are any benefits that would last after an inevitable weight loss.

I dont know but she certainly looks around 32. Like half her face looks like 28 and the other half has some of the sings of aging youd see in a 30 plus year old so she is doing quite well.

If she had this in her 20s and now in her 30s along with annual treatment, I’m not impressed. I looked like I was in my 20s when I was in my 30s without any maintenance, just healthy living. I was being given fliers by students to attend parties at the university I worked at when I was in my 40s. I think a lot of these ypung girls are getting cosmetic surgery too early and it makes them actually look older and synthetic
