    won't connecting the ir led to the arduino directly without a resistor fry the digital pin?

    idk if this is a hard question but can u like make a screen like the flipper zero or make it receive infared signals and save it after is saves it could be used to idk how to say it but make it as an ir blaster

      The 'ReceiveAndSend' sketch in the IRremote library does basically that, without the screen (unless you simply print it to the serial terminal).

    sir i have observed one thing its only working with the remotes which are giving address starting with NEC not working for all items. mostly supported to commonly available chines products in market. not working for my tv remote. why so? tv is not accepting the signal

      @thelightwielder Před rokem +1

      change sendNEC to send"TV"(replace "TV" with Sony, Samsung, etc) for example, my Samsung TV used sendSamsungLG

    Hello friend, would you have any Arduino code for a clock with a 7-segment display to set the time with an IR remote control? I didn't find it on the internet specifically for a watch with 7 segments. Thanks

      It's definitely possible to create this project but I haven't created a video about it maybe this week

    When I am receiving the data from the IR receiver it receiving two different data for single button press from the remote and when am sending the data from the IR Transmitter it sending low data to receive

    • @rajuradios
      @rajuradios Před rokem

      yes same happening with me..its giving different data for one same button most of time. rarely it matches with the numbers it send once.

    Thank-you for the tutorial! What if I don't want to use any buttons to transmit? Instead, just have the TX send 'ON' command in setup() automatically one time to power on a projector. What function would be needed? digital.write()? When using your "Send" bsketch as is on a Mega 2560, it does not compile and I'm getting compilation error: no matching function for call to 'IRSend::begin(int&, int)'

    HI I have a stalker hacking my Samsung TV non smart around 2011 he can make blank the screen split the screen & fade dissolve the colours. The FActory remote does not have those features any ideas on blocking or how i could reset my IR to stop him annoying me watching my TV in the evening. He has also hacked my freeview box as well & cuts the signal a bit of a pest tbh many thanks

      a bit of electrical tape over the sensors .. and a restraining order.
