One time in a lesson these two kids, one shirtless in bed and covered with blankets, were visibly playing video games. They had headsets on and everything. Then when the teacher asked them they said “oH wE’rE pLaYiNg FoRtNiTe ToGeThEr”

We don't turn on mic and camera in our zoom class, so there's that one guy that speaks for the whole class. Also, only half of the class actually shows up (which is like, 14 people, somedays only 10-12) My class resent online classes.

I'm in middle school and most of us have our mics muted and / or our webcams off.
Lol true but there are a good amount of people who have their cameras on but we're always on mute unless if we want to make a comment/question. Sometimes people won't even answer the teacher's simple questions like "can you see this?" "are we good?" "do we understand?" After a long awkward pause of nobody answering back, I feel bad for them and I just answer them. It's not like it's hard anyway and besides, ALL of my teachers are extremely nice and they don't deserve that crap that I've done and am guilty of doing. Oh also, I personally dont angle my camera at the ceiling or anything, I just keep my camera off or if I have to show my face, I'll turn it on while my room is dark (you can still see my face so its not too dark and I just use natural lighting.) Just be nice to your teachers and dont put Zoom in gallery mode. I find that I feel more anxious when I see everyone's faces while I'm speaking and it's also pretty distracting. Sorry for oversharing. I tend to do that a lot 😅

Not a teacher myself but I really hope that teacher's wages increase as they should have. You guys really really deserve it.
During my last summer semester, some guy in the background during zoom meetings would always agree with the professor on whatever she said, whether he understood or not. He'd keep going "facts, facts, that's facts, that's what's up" the entire duration of the lecture. It was so funny. The professor got really annoyed with him one day and asked him to keep your "facts" to yourself sir. Everyone bursted out with laughter 😂 Bless all teachers 🙏 ❤

No, one of the kids in my class was watching CZcams but had his mic on. He was watching something very violent. His mic was on, and while the teacher was explaining some Physics we heard (very loud) from his mic being on, a CZcams Video intro saying "What's up everyone? Today we are going to kill some people ...". He got in so much trouble.
