  • At 16, climate activist Greta Thunberg has been called the greatest threat to the world's fossil fuel industry. The teenager first made headlines last year with her solitary strike against climate change outside Sweden's parliament - since then, she's inspired millions of supporters to rally in more than 150 countries. Thunberg joins "CBS This Morning" for her first live U.S. television interview.

I have a physical disability, and this literally requires me to 'think outside of the box' in order to be able to take care of myself.
This kind of "outside of the box" training has given me the habit of thinking outside of the box about everything.
The only thing holding us back from reversing man-made climate change is expenses. Every politician and big business figure who speaks
about solving the climate problem talks about the expenses that are involved. They are hitting the nail right on the head, yet none of them seem to recognize it.
The only way to reverse man-made climate change is to first change the meaning of 'economic expenses', and the only way to do that is by changing
    the definition of 'profit'.
Here's a definition that not only changes the meaning of economic expenses, but also makes protecting and enriching the environment our main objective.
'profit = protecting and enriching the environment, and sharing the sustenance that it provides to all of us'.
Now it is a major expense to ignore our responsibility to protect and enrich the environment. This new profit model will create millions of new jobs
that will come under the heading of "Caretakers of the Environment". Caretakers will receive higher return for the work that they do than most other workers.
All of our actual gains come to us from the environment. Not only does "profit = income - expenses" not include the word environment, but this old
profit model defines the entire environment, and that also includes all of us, as expenses. Businesses must avoid and or eliminate as many expenses as possible.
No wonder the planet is on fire. No wonder there is so much homelessness.
p.s. Sorry it's a long note but reversing man-made climate change is a very complex problem and this note barely scratches the surface of the solution.

Apparently, you are a VERY stupid 84-year-old, or you would remember that at first it was a vague "environmental disaster" that didn't happen, and then it was "all the songbirds will die!" based on the fraud Rachel Carson's dishonest and inaccurate book (which has resulted in millions of completely unnecessary human deaths from mosquito-borne illnesses), and then it was the Population Bomb that would mean that everyone was starving by 1980, I mean 1990, I mean 2000, and then it was acid rain which would surely denude forests (was not real, did not happen; China has far worse emissions of SO4 than anywhere in the West, and their forests are growing fine--filthy, but fine), and then it was global cooling, and then it was the ozone, and now it is global warming, even though the earth still hasn't warmed to 1930s levels after the global cooling scare!
So which one were they "supposed" to act on? All the other fake scares, or this one?
      You stupid, stupid, stupid woman.

It's amazing to see people sit like frogs in a pot as it gets hotter and hotter until they are no longer able to hop out - only boil to death.
People live and thrive on science - so when they choose to ignore science and continue to act badly towards the planet you've got to wonder.
They say, "A mind is a terrible thing to waste." It is.

Please join us in speaking truth to power unless you have a better idea other than what we are doing. Would you have us remain silent when we are out of time? Do you believe we shouldn't restrict fossil fuels? If so, you got work to do bucko, especially for criticizing Greta. Did you vote for Trump?
