Inscryption Review - A Guide to Card-Games in the Dark

- Okay better late than never, but this is a game I really care about and wanted to do justice to in a review.
Inscryption is Devolver Digital's first card game and a great atmospheric and just straight up fun to play game, that I didn't expect to get as invested in the story of as I did.
Yes so it may have taken me 4 months to do it but in my defence there was a lot to cover and this has ended up being my longest video to date by some margin.

A very good video.
As a side note, I do like how the challenges in the game take a shape of a skull. A subtle nod to Halo perhaps?
Also, commander is a very good game mode that doesn't get ruined by people slowly ramping their competitive spirit, therefore making the other regulars do the same to the point where it's just autistic min-maxing and waiting for that one player to finish his triggers/draw/mana gain/card plays for 15+ minutes or until the table gives up.
I swear this video and Magical Girl Edge had at least several videos between them. What happened?
Edit: Oh shit, I just realized the issue. For some reason. The page from my end decided to put this video right next to the MGE review, and basically scrambled the video positions. My technical issues are fucked.

Also it never explicitly says your Kacy but it’s heavily hinted at since The Devil has some… choice words for you if you name yourself Kacy.

As an enjoyer of the magic deck in act 2 I can say that yes the deck is really bad at the start. You are basically playing a bad version of every other deck. What the deck is good at is degenerate combos once you unlock all the cards. Using the Blue Mage and Blue Sporemage with the double Moxes and the hammer to make space lets you draw through your deck absurdly easily. Then you just pick your win condition of choice.
That makes sense,
I figured you *could* make it good,
But I always had solid sniper builds by that point, and didn't feel the need to add extra cards.
Can it really be considered a card game if it doesn't have cum resistance stats?
I did actually get a friend a deck of it many years ago
Asked them if they still had it so I could get footage but sadly it is lost to time...
