The other day I introduced my pony, who is barely qualified to be a pony but still barely not a horse, to my best friend's Great Dane. My pony flipped out. He was like omg that thing is as big as me ahhh. He kept like backing away and being scared. He has met dogs before but never ones as big as him. But eventually they started to play like this. It was so cute.
This is so cute! I always make the joke that Great Danes are horses. I think it's amazing that we and other animals find a way to communicate with different species and make a bond. Winston is gorgeous!

BEAUTIFUL!!! So that's what owning horses looks like! I live in Texas, when I was little I lived in some apartments that was right next to someone large home/land. They had 2 horses that even at 8, I knew they were neglected and they shouldn't be living in the conditions they were in. Your horse is so absolutely gorgeous, you have an amazing relationship from what I could tell. Thank you this made my day :)
You can tell that both the dogs and the Horse were raised in a loving home to people that know how to train them right. This gentle playfulness is the result.
