Our mares absolutely doted on our oldest grandson, when he was a little. It was as if they couldn't get enough of his tiny toddler smell. He just brought out their soft eyed sweet mama goodness. Now over a decade later, they still love him.

So precious❤ my horses have always been incredibly gentle with my children and grandchildren . I had one mare that would actually close her eyes and totally relax when the kids groomed her as little ones. Some of them are instinctively sweet and gentle around them. It's a blessing given and received😊❤❤❤❤

I Board horses and I've watched them eat snakes, frogs, baby ducks, baby chicks, toads, mice most horses will not eat other animals but if they are lacking something in their diet they will eat small animals. It's not common but more aggressive horses or horses who live their life in Feild instead of stalls will do crazy things.
They know what babies mean to us because they have babies too. They see that tiny hoo-man and it's the same instinctual reaction we have when we see a puppy.

If the dog has been exposed in a environment which is healthy and the owner treats them right and train them accordingly then they would usually be fine around babies and children. Dogs are most likely to become aggressive if they have fear of humans from being mistreated by them.

I had a similar experience with my SoulHorse Daelite. I had taken her down to a group home I was working at at the time to see one of the individuals I worked with. Billy was in a wheelchair, had cerebral palsy and was none verbal. Billy started crying and Daelite moved closer to Billy and gently lowered her head and rubbed his belly with her nose, Billy looked at her like "What the..??" but he stopped crying for a second, when she raised her head a little Billy started crying again Daelite dropped her head then touched his belly and stayed there for a while until he was taken back into the house. I originally thought his chair would make her nervous but when it didn't it was then I realized she'd make a fabulous therapy horse.
Subhanallah. The baby is adorable and happy, and the horse is loving and gentle. What a beautiful moment. It's amazing that we can train and live alongside certain animals.
Sometimes you forget these massive animals have been domesticated alongside humans for thousands of years. The very first thing domesticated animals learn is to be gentle with our children or they become food :) Very cute!

I wouldn’t do that nor would I recommend it. The gentlest and smartest horse I ever owned sent me, a grown man, to the ER because she heard a noise and turned to see what it was. The animals are more powerful than many realize and they can make mistakes.

Now they are friends for life. my horse was always gentle with children. He was extremely spirited, but he wouldn't go over a walk with a child on his back, he sensed they were not seated well.

All animals are instinctively gentle with babies. My maternal grandfather had a farm, and there I've seen cows, bulls, buffaloes, goats, dogs, cats, even chicken and roosters being extremely patient and tolerant with infants as well as toddlers while the babies pulled on their feathers or whiskers, or, in case of the goats are cattle, their ears or horns. I believe their parental instincts kick in when they are with young kids...
My pup really impressed me by behaving this way. He LOVES to bark and is a high energy breed that isnt known for being good with kids. Hes met my 4 neices when he was a baby, but was more interested in marking and sniffing 😂 a few months ago I brought him (2years old) to see the girls and he did AMAZING he was so gentle and calm. He never barked, didnt nip, and gave out so many kisses! He let them hold him and was just such a good boy! I think since hes a big boy now, he understands.

While I try my best to remain secular when commenting/ conversing with others on social media platforms- sometimes it is near impossible when speaking of the soul & spirit. Amazing how a animal knows why the mom brought the baby there to meet the horse and the animal knows that’s her baby and to be gentle in introducing yourself!

All animals are instinctively gentle with babies. My maternal grandfather had a farm, and there I've seen cows, bulls, buffaloes, goats, dogs, cats, even chicken and roosters being extremely patient and tolerant with infants as well as toddlers while the babies pulled on their feathers or whiskers, or, in case of the goats are cattle, their ears or horns. I believe their parental instincts kick in when they are with young kids...
My pup really impressed me by behaving this way. He LOVES to bark and is a high energy breed that isnt known for being good with kids.
Hes met my 4 neices when he was a baby, but was more interested in marking and sniffing 😂 a few months ago I brought him (2years old) to see the girls and he did AMAZING he was so gentle and calm. He never barked, didnt nip, and gave out so many kisses! He let them hold him and was just such a good boy! I think since hes a big boy now, he understands.
“All” is far to inclusive. I’m sure a wolf would think it was a great meal.
@@truthwins3065 wolves even kill the babies of other wolves to protect their own territory and many animals are known to eat eggs or defenseless baby animals 😬🤐 definitely depends a lot on the situation
Not all animals.
They've also been known to take in a baby of another species... even humans & make them a pack member & care for them as their own.
Horses are such intelligent and awesome knowing that babies are harmless so they stays calm and gentle
