You just made me cry...Two years ago, I've stop doing photography since my dad died, my mom got CVA and my brother got cancer. I hope I will get the ''flame'' back. I miss these days when I would go for hours locking for this style of pictures... Your images are just beautiful! Also I'm very fond of Japanese culture and artists ( Hokusai, Hiroshige, Utamaro, Makoto Fujimura,...)THANK YOU VERY much for sharing this moment with us. So glad I find your video. Please continue, You made my day! Greetings from Québec, Canada.
I'm glad the video resonated with you. I'm sorry for you loss and what must have been a rough period of time. Photography can sometimes be therapeutic, I hope you get back out there and explore the seasons and capture a few moments. Dress warm though, it must be getting pretty cold up there by now. Thanks for sharing.
Great video. For me, the two willow leaves clinging to delicate branches best captured the ephemeral transition from autumn to winter. Simple and elegant. Thanks, Josh, for taking the time to make these videos. Yes, I would love to learn more about Japanese aesthetics.
The two willow leaves photo felt like the embodiment of this. The leaves had a glow in comparison to the background, giving the feeling of comfort before the winter.
I am glad my morning was inturupted which caused me to find this! I love the voiceover even more than the visuals...would love more explanations of meaning of Japaness words and phrases.
Things work out that way sometimes, glad you were interrupted and found this! I've been thinking about doing this more with Japanese language explanations, glad you like it.
I'm so glad to see you're back with your videos. You can explain very well japanese esthetics and philosophy aspects. I like picture of the tree 2:35, 7:51 and best for me is 4:00/4:04. So fore sure do more of them!
I saw a face in the lower left side of the tree trunk near the video's end. These photos are exquisite, and will inspire viewers to appreciate the letting go, transitional aspect of the season. It's simply gorgeous. Yes, please create more like this.
Very nice video. More videos would surerry be appreciated. Im my oppinion, this is already deep enough. I would like to see and to learn more japanese phylosopies like Shizen etc.
7:42 I see a face on the left side lower with what appears a partial thick sold necklace...I love the affect of these videos. I do hope you will do more. Right now, it's warm here, yet watching this video seemed to bring some coolness in my experience. Thank you.
@@ShizenStyle I have a picture at home and noone sees the images I see in it. Wondering if you've found the same thing in many images? ( after you finish an image) Thank you for responding.
Definitely! I notice things later when editing that I didn't see or focus on at the time of shooting. It's like seeing the place for the first time, again.

Thanks for sharing! Yes, willows aren't the typical image of Kogarashi but I think it fits, with a few still clinging to autumn. Cheers!

That's a great opinion and thanks for sharing!
I would like to learn more of these aesthetic concepts. Mind expanding.
Will do, thanks!
I watched this video of your photography and am going to go out for a walk now. I'll bet this will enhance my walk and awareness. Thank you.

Thank you. I have talked about it in a few different videos but I should make some more dedicated videos to the subject. Thanks for your thoughts.

I would love to see a video on book recommendations, in English and Japanese. Especially with details on what you think about the books
Thank you, I'll have to think about that one.

You saw the face too! When I first saw that I did a double take and had to capture that shot. Thank you for your comments.
I like to hear your videos in your natural voice, like from 8:10 , more.
I will definitely work on that, thanks for your thoughts.

Thank you for sharing! Yes, that face at the base of the tree is very distinct! I'm glad you liked the video, I will make more like this.
