This Video Is For Educational Purposes. It is meant to show the psychology behind how police interact with suspects to try and get their confession.
In this jcs inspired video, we take a look at the interrogation of Pam Hupp. After inheriting two life insurance policies and then making a suspicious 911 call, the police begin an investigation into Pam Hupp and what they find is shocking

This is one of the worst (or best) fake 911 calls ever. For someone that is "in fear of her life" she sure does sound bored.
right? suuuuuper flat
😂that’s what I was just thinking. It was the “help, help” with the most lacklustre insincerity! That got me 😂 anything after that I can’t even remember.
“Help wait. Please. Stop. Help.” 🥱
Never heard her give an address. I would think that would be the 1st thing to say. Idk though
bored 😂im sorry but you’re right
That was the silliest sounding "emergency" call i've ever heard.
Can you imagine being a dispatcher and hearing that? I would have laughed (and maybe gotten fired).
The "helps" were hilarious 😂
I feel so bad for Russ. Falsely accused, tried, sentenced, and spent 3 years of his life in jail. If I remember correctly, even his kids had eventually been convinced he did it and that's probably a new level of pain.
Yet people wonder why some of us men become psychopaths and sociopaths, I can't stand these women and their rights I never voted for it,
Betsy's daughters testified against him.
Never forget. You are not judged by a jury of your peers. You are judged by 12 people who are too dumb to get out of jury duty or people who have nothing better to do. Consider how dumb the average person is, now realize that 50% of them are dumber than that. Now out of that population, you have the people who are too dumb to get out of jury duty and those who don't even care if they go. Those are the people deciding your fate.
makes me angry
And his wife was murdered
These sociopathic people are so strange to me. I’m more nervous getting pulled over by the police for expired tags than she is talking about a murder.
@mark, same here!
And they’ll do it again. Never fails. No real emotion of any kind except rage for being the odd person at work and/or leisure.
Ha ha I know that's right
Same here.
That's a good sign that you have a conscience!!!
Take good care of yourself and be safe.

Im sorry, but that "help! Help! Help!" Was HILARIOUS.
That 911 call is probably the strongest evidence of involvement and guilt other than 4k video footage or DNA 🧬. I’ll be replaying that for years to come if I need a solid laugh.
🤣
It sure was.
Laughed my ass off. Lolol
Lol
Before I heard anything else, I said, that’s the fakest 911 call I’ve ever heard. Horrible acting!!!
Agreed. You think she could have tried a bit harder?! Sickening.
Ive always been fascinated with this case. She murdered Betsy, Louis and her own mother when she was in her 50s. Kinda makes you wonder if there are other victims out there from earlier in her life. I mean she decides to go pyscho for money middle aged?
She’s a serial killer. As a women this is very rare. You could be correct but some serial killers don’t become active until later in life but they had the sickness their whole life. Probably always thinking about it and when they do it they need to do it again.
I suspect there were more before Betsy
I feel like her condition developed over her life, cuz she acts like everyone around her is stupid and can't pick up on the fact, that she certainly does not act like someone who was in a life threatening situation just hours ago. If you get away with murder multiple times and then almost frame someone else for it, I can see how someone gets a superiority complex, like they are the smartest person around.
Actually for some reason, a lot of female serial killers don’t have their “killer instincts” activated until later in life, so this isn’t as uncommon as you’d think. Definitely fascinating
Exactly. I would check with Naples, Florida cold cases.
Horrible, horrible woman. Killed her mother, killed her “ best friend”, and put an innocent, grieving man in prison.
And killed the man this interrogation is about.
And killed the innocent mentally disabled man at the beginning of the video
Thank you for addition,as if two murders and false incarceration were not enough. Her demeanor during this interview is appalling. Supposedly in fear of her life and killing this man she talks about Florida and insurance. RIP to those precious lives lost. May she rot, burn and live forever in Hell.
And of course, poor Louie Gumpenberger!
conclusion is stay away from people , never know what they been up to
Murdering is one thing, but framing an innocent person is a whole different level of evil. Especially when it's the person's significant other. Wicked.
All for the $$$$$$
I mean idk they both are pretty deplorable lol
Imagine if he had gotten the death penalty. 😮
I mean, MURDERING someone is pretty bad!!
Totally agree! She has no empathy whatsoever! She is the kind of person you do not accept any beverages from
Thank you for covering this case. It absolutely blows my mind that she convinced a disabled person with a low IQ to practice the 911 call with her because she's gonna go be investigated soon and wanted to practice when THE WHOLE WHILE It was just a ploy to get him there so she could shoot him in so called self defense on the 911 call. Her deviousness knows no bounds what an evil lady. To my small brain this case was hard to grasp so thanks for the excellent explanation. I know this doesn't amount to much but I hope it gets you a caffeine drink lol

Have to imagine, how many times was she a Karen in a store, returning stolen items, or complaining about the cook on her burger, just always trying to get away with something.
Haven't atched stuff like this in a while. I'm a lot more cynical now. I used to think, wow, these people are crazy, all of us out here are sane. Nope. Legally, there's a difference between someone that murders and doesn't (ideally, Russia was the exception to that for 3 years apparently), but psychologically, there's no difference between someone willing to stab someone in the back to get ahead at work or in life and someone literally willing to stab someone in the back. So there's garden variety non-murderous crazies all around us, every day. Probably 25% of the population or more, not functioning well, or right, or how they should be. Society's lurking iceberg, we're a bunch of animals, and nothing can really control us.
There’s a great Tv show about her
@@nointro Yeah for entertainment. It’s trash informationally.
If she were an actress she would have been fired!! “HELP…HELP….HELP” would be laughable if she wasn’t a cold blooded killer!!

Chatting away to the detective, she’s forgotten that she’s just been ‘attacked’,and that she ‘had to’ shoot a man 6 times, and kill him.

Well if you’ve never been in the real situation you wouldn’t know. I had a home intruder I didn’t cry or feel anyway about it other than think on what else to do for home security. And knowing at least that one won’t be back to do it again.
Update: Pamela Marie Hupp ( born October 10, 1958) is an American murderer serving a life sentence in Missouri's Chillicothe Correctional Center for the 2016 shooting of Louis Gumpenberger in her home in O'Fallon, Missouri. Hupp's claim that she had shot Gumpenberger (who had mental and physical disabilities) in self-defense after he pursued her into her home wielding a knife was not accepted by law enforcement. She ultimately entered an Alford plea before charges of first-degree murder and armed criminal action could go to trial.
The woman is sick enough to put an innocent man in jail, kill her best friend, kill her mother, then dupe and kill this mentally challenged young man. Life in prison seems to good for her.
YEAAAA!..I was hoping for this!
And she is charged in Betsy's murder as of 2022.

What's SUPER sad about this, is the guy that she murdered in cold blood, who had NOTHING to do with her, just met her off the street and thought he was hired to do a reenactment for a tv program had learning difficulties! I can't remember if it was a learning disability or he had some kind of a brain injury, but that's why he talked like that, and to hear her make fun of him...just makes my blood boil!! EVERY SINGLE person who knew him spoke of how kind he was, how he wouldn't hurt a fly and who have been SO hurt by Pam's lies of him...I hope she BURNS!!
Yes indeed! Believe me she will burn 1 day when her time comes when she passes!

Man, I can only imagine the absolute horror Russ felt during the trial. Imagine what he was experiencing. This woman is blantently lying about you in court, she's receiving all of your wife's life insurance and you're going to spend life in prison. He must have known damn well it was her who killed her. The horror of it all...
that poor man. what a nightmare to go through especially after losing his wife
What about the kids? 😱
Russ was actually way too stupid to realize it was Hupp. Part of the reason they got a conviction the first time was because he insisted his wife committed suicide despite being stabbed 55 times. He was the only one in the world to believe it was a suicide.
that's juts devastating what a horrible thing to go through, just unimaginable.
Absolutely. To have to sit there and watch her lie, and just have to stay completely silent and not jump up and down and shout from the rooftops what a liar she is, took a level of self control I don't think I would have been able to exhibit.
She’s like a true femme fatale straight out of film noir - the mind boggles to know such people exist and do not get stopped for years despite others dying in mysterious circumstances all around them.
Suggest you look up what a "true femme fatale" is. She is in no way one.
Okay, i'll save you the trouble. It is a female who uses their attractiveness, sensuality, and sexuality to either lure a potential victim, or to have the victim “lower their guard" or dismiss entirely any normal wariness, to a potentially dangerous/life threatening situation. She is simply a psychopathic murderer who happens to be female.
Femme fatale's are attractive though.
Femme fatal? More like a bad Jessica Fletcher....
😂 the 911 call made me laugh 😹 couldn’t find better actors especially the Unetellegible mumble 😂😂😂😂😂😂 that took me out
I’m still laughing and the interrogation has started.
When she says “Get out! Get Out!” It sounds like she talking to her cat.
As someone who has heard more about this case: Luis was intellectually and physically disabled, he could not run and could hardly walk. Not only did this monster take the life of her mother and a person who thought she was a friend. She also manipulated, used and murdered a poor disabled man. he thought it was a reenactment of a 911 call and he would get paid to do it, instead he lost his life because this monster wanted to keep her money and cover her other crimes.

Root
People say she's not a master manipulator because she failed, but you have to remember, she was able to bamboozle the cops, the judge and the jury into believing Russ killed Betsy and sent him up for life without parole, all for a crime SHE committed. She used police bias against Russ and spent years setting up the frame job. It was inevitable that her greed would catch up with her, but her ability to throw the authorities in a completely different direction is a diabolic talent and stuff of legends. They made a TV series about her for a reason.
What movie? I’m interested.
I s Russ Still in Jail
@Bradley Baker Thankfully, Russ' conviction was thrown out on appeal & he was released 3 years later. Didn't stop Pam Hupp from calling the cops & trying to implicate Russ in a suspicious drive-by shooting of her car. Police didn't fall for it this time and hauled her greedy ass to the station. 😂
You have a point however the cops dropped the ball
It was more of the cops not doing their homework and having tunnel vision. There’s so many men that either have been released or still behind bars due to detectives tunnel vision and ignoring key evidence.
Clearly Pam had been watching too many untrue crime shows on tv when she came up with this whole debacle. Nothing has ever looked or sounded more staged than this.
She seems like she just LOVES to talk and be listened to. You can tell she’s used to manipulating people with her words - she carries herself with a lot of confidence 🙄
Many psychopaths have narcissistic tendencies and love to be the center of attention. Everything is always someone else's fault and they are always the innocent party.
Why am I hooked on police interrogation videos 😂😂

Me too girl, i think it reminds me no matter how bad life can be its never as bad as these dummys😂😂

I’ve been watching so many of them over the past few days. It’s a fixation at this point. I think it’s partly because you rarely get to see these in it’s entirety on the news and stuff, maybe? I’m not sure. True crime has always fascinated me.
Its because trash exists in this world and we hope it gets taken out like the garbage.
It's INSANE that she ended someone's life earlier that day and is sat there talking about house prices, insurance and humidity.
She talked as if she had just come from getting a manicure, not from a home invasion/robbery and self-defense shooting.
@@Dehmitz
Right! Thats another thing the police should have noticed. This woman, that was so distraught supposedly after having to kill a man, is so calm and relaxed having conversations about humidity. She was just "forced" to murder! For most, that would be life changing, and the shock and trauma alone would have a normal person on the floor in fetal position. But she was cool as ever. Talking about the weather.
That “help help” was next level acting. 😂 Joey from Friends would be proud!

I've read about this woman and she's a real piece of work. She did these horrendous things and never felt any remorse. I watched a limited series with Renee zellweger based on her and thought it was exaggerated but seeing her in these real videos, they weren't exaggerating who she was in that movie.
It's so disturbing to me that she tricked some innocent guy into being a pawn in her game and murdered him.

@@JCC503 lol that's spot on! So funny
Just a small note about the murder of Pam's mother: I think it is extremely obvious that the "accident" was staged just by the picture of the railing. If such a railing were to collapse and break under a person's weight, not only would some of the vertical spokes holding up the guard rail buckle or come off, but the horizontal rail itself would be severely bent because that is what the person would be leaning on. Unless the person is shorter than the railing or tripped and barrelled into it headfirst, they'd still have the guardrail stopping them from falling off the balcony.
It seems extremely negligent to me that the accident wasn't investigated further, especially with evidence of a sleeping pill overdose in the victim's body.
Is Baldy interrogating this woman for just BSing with her....wtf
@@richardguevara9486 just in there trolling her. They do this in order to build her character profile that will be turned over to prosecution psychologists who will then use her (in)actions as typical evidence of psychopathic killers.

I love your voice!😍
Thanx for an awesome channel...💋
Note to self, if a Karen ever knocks on your door asking you to tryout for a 911 reenactment, do a bad job
Karen's evil cousin
That 911 call had no fear, or urgency just pure theatre, in fact she reminded me of Popeye's wife Olive, "help". But obviously Olive said it better!
Hahahaha!
Help help help! No i wont go in the car! Help!
Dang ur comment is accurate! 😂
Whose this...
Hey hello.... Oops I mean Help
@@susansmith1336 Yeah, oh uh…hep meh 😂
The police was so patient with her rambling on and on about every detail with no emotion even though she was reliving a traumatic event. The police know how to handle these interviews, they gave her enough rope to hang herself. The red flag she worked in insurance and she wanted the camera filming her interview.
This woman reminds me a lot of my grandaunt. My grandaunt's taken at least 7 people's lives and attempted multiple times with 2 others. Many were close family like parents and siblings. She poorly stages them and has gotten away with it for years. Then turns around and acts calm as if she did nothing. She's even went to the extent of pinning the blame on someone else to look less guilty
It's kinda eerie how someone can seem so normal and do these awful things
I also know a woman like that...She actually tried to kill me and tried to pin the whole thing on me (very scary way of reversing the whole story) There are a lot of enablers around her.. and there is something eerily similar int he behaviour/body language in both the women
Wait, what??? You're aunt is a serial killer???
@@a.nobodys.nobody
Unfortunately, yes
@@marleyskydye_krno way. Anymore info you can tell us? Without upsetting you obviously. I know it's personal
Reminds me of my mother and maternal grandmother
You got the order of murders wrong. Betsy was first, then her mom, then this man. One of the things she said in the interview for Betsy's murder was "if I wanted to murder someone for money, my mom has a big life insurance policy and she's elderly. Why would I murder someone that could fight back?" The weirdest thing I've ever heard considering she then did kill her mom!
That'd exactly what he said in the video. I took notes on the whole video.
@@alexawermuth1219 he said "the next person who would pass away was Betsey," which implies the mother was first. It's correct in other parts of the video but I see why someone would be confused.
It was in her plans all along to murder her mom
@alexawermuth1219 8:35 - "The next person that would pass away, leaving Pam with more life insurance money was Betsy..."
Sounds out of order to me.
I have a sister just like her. They actually like to hunt at what they did. Like to brag somehow. It’s added rush of power if the person knows she got away with it. She even looks like my sister. Yuk. Very dangerous. And people are so unsuspecting. Even after you tell them. Hard convince them that this person who washed their dishes. Cleaned their car. Made them soup. Was also poisoning them. Hitting their kids or animals. And icing on my damn cake. She tried to murder me. My own older sibling. Amount hundreds other horrible stuff first. It escalates with these diseased minds.
She was sentenced to life without parole in August 2019.
Just murdered him for nothing.....monster 👹
You can tell the cops know she’s bulls***ing…
Never interrupt your enemy when they’re making a mistake. She convicted herself
When there was a long pause after she finished speaking, and one of the detectives said, "Just so I understand..." it was an indication to me that he knew her story had more holes than a slice of Swiss cheese.
Perfect timing, sir. Just fired up the Playstation and rolled a joint.
Just rolled a joint literally right when I clicked on your comment I just got done rolling one lol
Facts besides the game system. I need to get another one though. Someday. 🔥
@@ElChapos yes you do bro
I love putting these on and playing a game. I must have watched so many interrogation videos recently while playing the KotOR games
Dude Same!
Listening to this channel or EWE while gaming has been my go-to lately!
I got spinal cord damage so can't roll well anymore so now I use Raw cones. 😁
The last third is usually pretty turbo charged too, lol
Just noticed i wasn’t subscribed but been watching all yours videos. Thanks for posting great content. This case is f&@:& crazy
Imagine being one of those people she tried to recruit to reenact a 911 call and finding out this is what she actually had in mind.
She's like Gene Wilder in Willy Wonka when he's like "No, stop, don't."
That's the lamest acting of an emergency. The 911 operator could have solved this case.
This is the best comment.
And I'm sure she let the detectives know
My brain is still recovering from the Brooks trial. It's nice to move on to something else.
Objection.

I'm sorry, I can't hear y'all from behind my box fort.
Lmao. That trial was a ride.
Haha me too
It is scary how personable she is.
Right?? I was thinking that the whole time. I wonder if she gives off a different vibe in person, if intuition would pick up on her being someone not to trust.
Its usually the overly personable ones
That whole story about getting out of the rental property business and not being able to pay her mortgage because a tenant couldn't pay his rent was so fitting. Not only is she a murderer but she's also a leech landlord.
Imagine your dying wife, who you love, leaving everything to someone else she just met because she doesn't trust you.
Ouch!!
He ended up with $2 million vs $150k so he got the last laugh! Bwahahahaha
The biggest mystery to me is that how these psychopaths ALWAYS manage to have such long marriages (she said 36 years?) or sometimes even multiples marriages and who are those poor souls who tolerate these monsters for years and not run for their lives ??? We need to teach these red flags at schools about how manipulators operate and their attachment styles, love-bombing/devalue/discard, etc.... all to get what they want.
That's the point of the psychopath, and how they can get away with what they're doing for so long. The "happy family, good, hard working" facade was their way of going about unnoticed. Watch more psychology focused true crime vids and you'll learn more about the psychiatric side of wtf is up with these people.
Real narcissist and psychos will actually try really hard to look as normal as possible
Believe me when I tell you that she profiles certain type of men and can spot them a mile away. Trust me again, every man she has ever married has specific things in common such as feelings lonely, low self esteem, short, overweight, Brad Pitt syndrome!
@@joejohnson6321 WOW great comment. Yeah they look for broken people (mostly due to childhood traumas) so they can control them easier. They are not attracted to healthy people and healthy people would not date them either. Thanks for your comment, I get it now.
@@joejohnson6321 And by the way what is " Brad Pitt syndrome " ?
She goes straight into over detail for trivial things whilst coughing without covering her mouth.
Amazing for someone who described someone with such great detail that “she did not look at him.”
The horror Betsy’s husband went through being arrested, tried and convicted of his wife’s murder……. The cops did a terrible job on this case, apparently not even believing the friends that cooperated his alibi for that evening….I hope Russ was compensated for this nightmare…..
No judgment here, but you "corroborate" an alibi.
I think the State should sell Hupp's excess organs to recipients then send the proceeds to Russ. A kidney, part of her liver, one of her corneas.
He should have sued the incompetent DA
Also, no judgement here, but commas exist if you weren't aware.
@@athena8729 Usually people are compensated for time served when they're exonerated of a crime. I'm not sure if varies state or federally, but I've heard 60k/year.
Once she got the taste of the things her mum’s money could buy nothing was going to stop her from having them. What a horrible woman.
There's something especially wicked about killing your own parents for their money.
She is evil
@@wiseauserious8750 Yes, I wonder if there are any moments in the dead of night without distractions when they are alone with their thoughts whether they ever ponder the enormity of what they have done.

You gotta love how her life is basically about to be over…and she’s sitting there having a conversation about the housing market. What a complete and utter narcissist.
she looks like she could be in a planet of the apes movie with hardly any makeup required.
True 😆
That's an insult to apes
Dude I totally see it
Whenever a person being questioned over explains themselves, trying to make sure that their story connects, you know they’re guilty lol
And when they just smalltalk talk on and on with a smile about a lot of stuff in their life, you get the sense that they totally forgot to act shocked or sad from the situation
Lol I know right. Reminded me of 40 yr old virgin when he's telling his coworkers about his last sexual escapade.
A landlord AND an insurance person? Yea, that’s a sociopath right there.
😂😂😂
Haha oh yes
Whats ur issue with insurance?
"I work in insurance" LOL
AllState I bet...same morals
This woman's 911 call sounded like a scene being 'acted out' at a women's prison's drama club.
Never ending up featured in a CZcams interrogation video, is just another reason to ask for an attorney
"It's very rare to catch a true sociopath in the wild." -Hannibal Lecter
Do you have any other quotes?
The 911 was painful to hear, you can tell by the tone of her voice straight off the bat its not a genuine call in need of help 😡
The fact that a human being can be this vile and disgusting is so depressing to me
Don't be depressed, be thankful you aren't like it. She is a very miserable/sad person in reality.
