The camera angles and the cinematic storytelling technique are essential for the scene. You hardly notice that the "box" in Liverpool is significantly smaller than in the original Swedish performance. The black letterbox frames and the camera spinning during the intro bring to mind the theme of His Dark Materials and the lighting of dramatic landscapes in the epic film Dune (2021). I am incredibly impressed by everyone who created that scene - costume, hair/make-up, scenography, storyboard, lighting, sound, choreography, dramaturgy - perfection down to the smallest detail. All built on Queen Loreen's idea and vision. It is easy to understand that she has lived, slept and breathed Tattoo for six months. And no one does it so committedly and with such feeling and presence that goes right through the TV screen. And her fantastic voice can move mountains, regardless of whether she is lying, sitting, standing, or singing the competition's most challenging song with such ease. Finally, G:son & Co have written and composed an insanely great song, built on a simple scale that recurs like a red thread throughout the song and that grows to a dramatic crescendo worthy of a true winner of the Eurovision Song Contest.
Everything about Loreen was phenomenal: Her voice, her hair, her body language, her immense presence, her command of the stage and set, absolutely everything.
I think people who were pro-Finland keep trying to forget that, while Loreen didn't reach the public votes that Cha Cha Cha got, she STILL placed 2nd with a song people were so quick to label a "jury song". SECOND in the public voting. Like cmon. Ya'll are acting like her jury numbers were the sole reason she won. People voted for Tattoo as well.
And they forget it's really rare for a winner to be 1st in the public and jury votes, it happened only just 6 times in these last 14 years since the reintroduction in 2009, the last time with Portugal in 2017. Arcade which is now the most streamed Eurovision winning song didn't even come first in any of the votes, neither the jury or public!

I blows my mind thinking about how many things have to be right with cameras and coordination to produce the results we see at home on our screens. We see results that look like music videos, yet they are all shot live.
For me it's the opposite. The song is overrated and generic. In my opinion Tattoo is nothing compared to Future lover which is innovative, powerful and a delight to the eye. I'm Swedish and should cheer for Sweden, but not this year. I think that the trophy should go to someone new person.
