Dell Precision 7510 LCD upgrade

- In this video I upgrade my Dell Precision 7510 lcd panel.
Original panel was Dell oem 45% color gamut panel. It is dim and colors are not vibrant. Terrible panel for such a great laptop!
I used panelook.com to look for compatible panels. Using advanced search for 15.6" eDP panels with brightness above 300cd/m, FullHD and 16.8M colors quickly narrows results. Further sorting list by "Stocks" and looking up panel code in amazon / aliexpress left me with just few choices.
Look for these panels
- N156HHE-GA1
- NV156FHM-N61
The screen failed on my Precision 7510 and I was able to order and install the recommended N156HHE-GA1 screen which I purchased from Amazon, thanks to this video

4K panel requires eDP 40 pin connector. 1920 display has eDP 30 connector. Let us know if you succeed.
Great video, helped me replace my LCD for both my precision 7510 and 7520. Word of advice though: when you're disconnecting the display from the computer, please put the camera on the area you're working on because it was quite difficult to see that part. Otherwise, great video and thanks once again.

hi there, does it mean that I can not replace my 1080 to 4k? how to be sure about that?

Тhe first is 120 hertz but is TN. The second is 60 hertz but is IPS. Who is better

Are these compatible with the Vostro 7510?

Hi, i want to upgrade my 7520 (same base ?) from IPS FHD touch & GLOSSY to MATTE 4K UHD. Do you know if i must change my video cable between screen and board ? (30 pins 40 pins eDP etc ... ho ?!)
You will have to change cable. I have not done that.

Right-click on desktop > display settings > display resolution. Now if the highest resolution you can get is 720p, 1080p, or 4K, your display is HD, Full HD, or 4K respectively.
