Yes, Benedict is using a "leash" as a bookmark. Really old well made books used to have a fabric leash sewn into the spine of the book to use as a bookmark. It was really expensive and time consuming to do because it had to be done by hand so it fell out of favor as books moved into mass production.
edit: You'll even see Benedict's model is carrying a book in his hand, and as he runs back and forth you will see the little red leash swing out of the book and flow in the air.
Makes a lot of sense. I've seen and used a lot of books before that had built in bookmarks, but they always called them a different name. Leash still makes sense though. A shame we don't really get them anymore.
i still see fabric leashes in modern hardcover books, it still very much exists.
Here's a tip for our fellow dungreed players: Boss rewards include set pieces from all of your inventory, so if you see KAENA in a reward, pick it for a higer chane of getting the girls. In the same vein, get rid of your garbage set items to prevent boss rewards from giving you shit items
Also, Smith's enhancement and anvil's enhancement are different, so you can get both on one weapon. Don't be like beelz and skip 10-25% damage on your weapon

@@anonymousmonkey9491 Rarity? If it's an epic (gold) or legendary (pink), then they are in a reward pool. Also, have you checked your equipment? Equipped items are also considered "in your inventory", so, for example, the hawk earring may lead to assasin dagger or a cloth armor in boss rewards

The Sword of the Cosmos enhancement isn't entirely clear. It says you do, "10% of current HP as additional damage". It doesn't say whether it's your life or the enemy's, and the sword is already doing a lot of damage, so it's hard to tell.

This is how I got my first win against Kaminela with the Armoured Warrior! I actually started the game with the Cosmos sword and the Light Bringer. I got the wings in area 3 so the run was going pretty epic especially with set bonus for the wings and the bow. Then in the last area I got the accessory to make me the Cosmic God. I hadn't seen this video yet so I didn't know how awesome it was. I kept looking for some downside to the transformation. It can't be that good can it? BUT IT IS!
Even a goddess possessing infinite cosmic power is not immune to the effects of being chonky.
Side note, I'm low key imagining her as being plus sized and I unironically kinda love it

I loved the Bloodborne reference at the beginning
This is the real anime protagonist run. Overweight nerd gets isekai'd. He gets an oversized legendary sword, which bestows the ability to transform into a cute magical girl that blinks around and instantly destroys everything in their way. Featuring Doctor Strange for that Disney/Marvel tie-in.
Man I love the cosmic sinergy, got my very first win with it. And the transformation looks soooo cool.

God I love this game and the series. As for the accent, I thought it was some kinda meme or reference to a video or a stream I hadn't watched. Never occurred to me it was a accent thing since it doesn't really sound to me like an accent outside of that.
Damn, that set has quite the cool gimmick to it! Just entirely changing into the embodiment of the cosmsos!
Not even a lackluster transformation either, you perform as great as you look while using it, and that's an even bigger plus!
Benedict is definitely OP, though. AI acts mostly on its own and goes around slaying things aggressively, although I didn't expect that damage output on the final boss. The shift from serious mode to screwing around was certainly quick, though!

I totally understand the feeling of glee when you get that set item on the first floor. We spend so many runs just waiting on that 1 piece floor after floor and just waiting patiently and it either doesn't show up or it shows up on the second to last floor or last floor. And while it is nice to finally get it, we don't get to really enjoy it. And it's just a whole different kind of satisfaction to start your run with the set and truly get to enjoy the set.
That being said it can also make you crazy because once you have the set you pass up on items, and that usually ends up biting you in the ass because it ALWAYS ends up where you pass up 1 set item, and then another shows up and then another and then you're like gawdaammiitttt!!!!! why did you have to do this to me on this run? ugggggg.

If you beat boss rush you get a golden short sword
if you turned on the power and equiped another weapon instead of cosmos sword or heart with the power
thats why you cant change the item while in the form

I have something that slightly troubles me tho , when u start your run with the weapon u will use from start to finish it gets pretty clear how the run will end , I would love seeing u start runs without a special op weapon
Normally I prefer that too, like with the Katana run I did before this. THis is normally why I normally stick to taking accessories.
