I just replaced the switch, thanks to your video. Had to buy the switch and the tools, but still cost less than half what the dealership was going to charge, and feels good to have done it myself. Thank you!

Thanks for the great video; I too was done in about 30 minutes. Skills-wise, out of ten, I am about a 7 for jobs like this. Pretty easy job. "Tools & time".
    Some notes:
‱ Don’t forget to unclip the foot well light, after you have unclipped the other electrical switches
‱ Check that the mirror adjustment switch has not moved (it got move a bit, so I had to unclip the door again-my bad)

Another frustration-saving video! Thanks. Just replaced my turn signal stalk 4 days ago and now my driver’s side window switch doesn’t “auto” all the way down/up. Small thing, I know (the first position still operates the window) - but the timing is just too suspect. Turn signal went bad 11 days ago (took a little time to research & order the part) and immediately after the window switch acts up. đŸ˜€

Wow, compared to other cars where the switch assembly itself comes out without the full door panel, this is much more of a hassle.
I don't know if my window is having issues due to switch or motor, and was hoping it would be much easier to test out.

If the passenger side window lowers when pressing the switch on the passenger side, but the passenger side doesn't lower when pressing the switch on the driver side, but all other windows lower from the driver side, does that suggest that the switch needs to be replaced?

hey, 2016 Subaru forester, I put a new battery in, the passenger window don't work at either button, and both rear windows don't work, they will not go down from drivers side door or the door they are on, this forester don't have the window lock button, it was ordered with out it, I really don't know when they stopped working we don't use them much, may have not worked before the battery change , could it be the master switch, and what made it stop on three windows?

+Randy Bird Thanks for checking us out. Unfortunately, we cannot provide a diagnosis for your vehicle over the internet, we would suggest consulting with a local mechanic to figure out what is causing this problem. 1aauto.com

You don't even remotely have this part. You have a link for this part but it doesn't take you to the part and searching for it on your web-site shows it doesn't exist.

@@1AAuto Thanks for the reply. You might consider removing the link then. It gives the impression that it's an easy-buy but just confuses the customer.
