It`s canned in a vacuum so the meat is sucked to the bottom of the can but as soon as you let air in from the bottom of the can the vacuum is released, allowing the contents to be easily pushed out. My Gran taught me that over 40 yrs ago. xx
You NEED to clean the mushrooms before you slice them. Either wash or brush off the black bits of fertilizer (aka shite). Spam, just hold it upside down for a minute and it actually falls out of the tin.

Hi Kay! When you go "to check on the toast" you should consider what it is you are checking. I feel this check may have come to a conclusion that the toast was burnt, don't be shy to try another piece of bread and just do it for less time.
Tip on getting spam out of the tin, i use it a lot for fish bait, just squeeze the corners of the tin that are diagonal to each other gently, and switch sides while shaking it upside down and the block will slide out. Thank you for the video Kay.

If you punch a couple small hole in the bottom it will break the vacuum and let meat slide out easier

Best way to get spam out of a can is to poke a hole in the bottom of the can and then turn it upside down, gravity will do the rest
