- I’ve been using the 11 inch M1 iPad Pro for close to two years now and I can without a doubt say this is one of my best Apple product investments to date. I opted to go with a refurbished iPad Pro to save money and so far it’s held up great. By going the refurbished route I got to save money as well as guarantee my iPad’s longevity through Apple Care and Apple’s Software Support. So in this video we break down my use case with the 11 inch M1 iPad Pro and whether or not it’s still a good buy in 2023.

How’s the screen brightness on your IPad 11”? I was told because it’s a LCD screen there really dark. I had a 12.9 “ 2020 version and hated how damn big it was. The 11” M1 is looking awesome.
@@Scott-cy6zv The screen brightness is great i cant complain. I never really tried it in full bright sunlight but for using it at school and at home as a media consumption device its great. Mixed with an iPhone it would be even greater but at the moment im using an android but i want to switch to apple. Its an awesome device and i cant complain about anything.

🐬 I agree that the only hesitation to purchase the Magic keyboard before was the price (¥44,800 Japanese yen approx. $433 Canadian). But since I have been using my M1 11inch iPad Pro constantly now (at home and on-the-go), I am now convinced that probably it is time to consider getting one. Thanks for this video Rjey. My 2015 IPad Pro still gets all the updates and is fine. I even have the original battery.
I picked up a used one recently for half the price of my m1 MacBook Air and it’s a great pair lol. Definitely recommend looking at the refurbished and used market for tech. We’re at a good spot where these slightly older but great performing devices can be found for cheap.

Just got one from plug tech for $460 in excellent condition, idk if they sent me the wrong one but on their website when I bought it it said iPad Pro 11” 2018 the one with the small single camera but the one I received is a iPad Pro 11” 2021 model A2301 128gb so I guess I got a better bang for my buck 😁

I ordered iPad Pro 12.9 inch M1 yesterday I can’t wait! I have iPad Air 4 it’s great device but the battery life is not great and I do design projects and school also so the Pro is perfect for me
I still have the 11 inch iPad Pro 2020 with A12z Bionic, i love it and still learn bits here and there how to use Files app better ect. I’m thinking about getting the iPad Pro 13 inch this year though. A larger screen i think would be great for multitasking, i use side cart or Split View often.
I agree the 11in is the best form factor. But I got way too attached to that XDR display therefore prefer the 12.9in currently. Plus I got used to the bigger size. But I can’t wait until Apple gives the XDR display to the 11in. Until then I’ll keep my M2 12.9
I have the 12.9 M1 and use my series 6 iPad so much more than it, so I think I would like the 11 better. Next time I think I’m going with the 11”
I have the M1 and I feel like iPadOS doesn’t even take advantage of how powerful the chip is. I might be upgrading to a new iPad only because I want the bigger one for my next iPad

I have and been using my iPad 12.9 pro m-1 1TB for just over a year now and I still absolutely love it, it’s as powerful or more then my ps4 lol 😂

Purchased mine not long after it came out. It’s been remarkable. At 59, I no longer really need a laptop as I face retirement. However, will most likely purchase a new Apple MacBook Pro before the end of the 2024. I may go refurbished but not sure.

Sir i have one doubt , does the ipad pro 11 inch screen shows pink and green tint or rainbows colours if viewed from an angle or from sides like viewing it from charger port perceptive when the screen is showing all white colour background example a white colour background youtube video playing ? And is it ok for it to show that pink and green tint ?
I went with the m2 version cause i do sculpting and modelling plus a lot a sketching and i love installing and testing apps which leads to lot of apps like my current phone has i think above a 100-150 apps so yeah m2 might just see its competitors with me 😂
Just purchased new iPP 11 M1 2TB cellular for $850 finally replacing my iPP 10.5. Updates and installation is night and day between the 2 but App performance is about the same on regular tasks but huge improvement with Lightroom, Photoshop, Affinity and gaming. I'm sure I'll get at least 5 years utilization out of the M1 purchased in February 2024.

I'm also trying to decide between 11" & 13", and something I just realised is when I use a laptop to read things, it's on LANDSCAPE mode.
Which is not ideal for scientific papers/eBooks etc.
Even using a 15" laptop screen.
But with an iPad, it's in portrait, and it fits an "A4"-type journal paper a lot better.
If using it as an eBook reader etc is important.
Which is exactly where I was looking at a 13" iPad.
But 11" will be good, and as you say in some ways better because of...."beddability" factor....:-}

Hey bud for brightness is there a huge difference between the 11” and the 12.9”? I was told the 11” Pr is so dark compared to 12.9. I only ask because it’s LCD. Here in Canada for a 11” wifi+cellular 256gb is 1750$ after taxes. It’s 300$ more then a MacBook. But I wanted a 11” for portability. I would use it outside half the time due to work (construction). I got the 11 inch m2 one here in india it costed me 1380$ and it also includes ipad and pencil and cover and screen protector stuff and iPad is the 512 gig just wifi version .
Apple could do everyone a favor and allow financing via the Apple Card on the refurbished items.

I’m in the position of not knowing whether to get a new iPad Air 5 or refurb m1 IPad Pro from apple. Prices are very similar where I am just not sure which is the best long term. Any advice?
Don’t need huge power, just wanting the one that will last the longest before needing a new upgrade.

I have literally just had the same dilemma - I bought the pro yesterday. Considering the air5 is essentially the same as the pro, with the pro actually being marginally better in some cases it will essentially be supported as long as the air5. The Pro models essentially hand Down their tech to the air and the air to the iPad standard with each gen
