Focus groups, online interviews, surveys, polls, questionnaires, etc. can be carried out with the pre-decided sample of individuals. Thank you!!
Hi Umji, it is simply saying that you need to choose or focus on one survey method. You could focus on a qualitative or quantitative method, and they listed several examples for you to consider. Are these instructions for an assignment in a class you are taking? I encourage you to reach out to your instructor for help or further explanation so you can find out exactly what they are asking you to do. I hope that helps!

It is the text that I use for a graduate course that I teach about research methods and I highly recommend it. Depending on what exactly you would like to learn more about, I could suggest different books for you. There is a book that I like a lot be DeVellis (referenced below) that does a great job of discussing scale development for quantitative instruments.
