Thank you so much for covering this case, Rui must not be forgotten! In portugal we still hope his alive and that someday we'll get closure.
Every aspect of this is utterly horrific.
Completely crazy that the police literally did nothing for so long.
No wonder Maddie was never found. No wonder
Sickening
😓sad
It's tragic when the family puts in more effort than the people that are supposed to protect and serve. Don't get me wrong, I know that there are a lot of good police out there that will do everything they possibly can to help but it's disturbing and discouraging how many incompetent, lazy and uncaring police there are out there. I understand that they may be overworked, understaffed and low on resources but sensitivity and understanding toward the victims and their families shouldn't be something the police lack in. I'm sick of police not taking families seriously, brushing off concerns of loved ones only to end up running around silly and screwing up with sloppy investigative work once it's proven the child didn't just run off as they had assumed. How many times have we heard "they are probably out with their friends and they'll be back soon, they probably just got caught up, or he or she are an adult, they can go missing if they want to"
The Corruption and socioeconomic bias in this world allows these monsters, these deviants all the freedom they want and need to exploit the innocent.
Welcome to Portugal.. yes a nice little country with shit police work.
But hey!! We got cheap beer tho!!
How any judge could decide that taking a young boy against his mother's wishes (to visit a sex worker!) and then not being able to account for the boy's location is not abduction boggles my mind.
I'm starting to think that international pedophiles have figured out that the Portugese law enforcement and legal system are so negligent that they can operate there with impunity.
This man is good at narrating. He keeps me in tuned. While I'm listening to Casefile, I take my phone with me everywhere in the house LOL. I never heard of some of these people. Casefile awakens my curiosity, I usually end up doing my own research after listening. Casefile is a really good channel!
*HAPPY HOLIDAYS FELLOW SUBBIES!🎄🎁*
Same!!!!❤
Favourite podcast. Love his voice. Thanks from Canada
Well damn that was depressing.
look up the case of manual schadwald
Best podcast around. I recently started listening to your podcast at work and I am loving it. Thanks.
How everything about this case stinks of corruption in wrong places is mind boggling.😭
The whole case is screaming of corruption from the beginning to the end.
Why just why 😢😞 my heart hurts for rui and his family...why isn't this case talked about more?? Theres people out there in the world that know exactly what happened to him 😞
Dude got acquitted because the judge was one of his clients for underage boys
Yeah the old school leaders especially in the UK are kiddy fiddlers, time for them all to retire.
Pretty sure that's the case
Good job with pronouncing these Portuguese names. Most non Portuguese butcher our names.
You spot on his pronunciation is fab and he tells a good story.
The guy does a great podcast. Hopefully you do one on the monster of Worcester he is a killer from 🇬🇧 or some on Australian gangsters..
This was absolutely heart-wrenching!
Total miscarriage of justice.
My heart goes out to this family! 😔
Your the top podcaster mate, your voice and pitch are perfect. Me and my Fraulein listen at night and i listen to you on absolutely
This is heartbreaking 💔
Truly heartbreaking 🥲🥲🥲🥲❤️
Horrifying. Imagine identifying your kidnapped child in photos seized during a raid on a global paedophile ring. Then the abusers likely murdered little Rui. It's a very dark tale. What's known is terrible, but there is enough unknown for the imagination to entertain the worst. I feel sick. That poor boy.
No wonder Alfonso mentioned closing the boarders and that Rui is probably far away. This case is sad and sickening. I pray that he did not suffer...even though it’s unlikely
@@chelsea9641 same here this case affected me profoundly , it sickens me to think what could have happened to the poor boy, there is evil out there that knows no bounds. I hope poor Rui somehow is alive somewhere but I doubt it. Alfonso holds the keys to this puzzle and the police should have put extreme pressure on him to tell the truth, he is a heartless evil animal.
Between Rui Pedro and Madeleine McCann, the Portuguese police seem like they don’t care too much about missing children. They brushed the parents off on both cases during the most critical part of the crimes.
I find it easier Rui Pedro is alive, is wandering around with a new identity or hostage of the kidnappers, than Madeleine is alive.
No, the McCanns and their creepy friends are part of this recently uncovered p*do ring. You should read about the creepy photos they took of madeleine, as well as the connections they had with the royals and british high society. The McCanns themselves had a part in whatever happened that night for certain. I recommend you go to Shaun Attwood's channel and listen to his podcasts about the connections between Prince Andrew, the McCanns, Epstein, etc, provided you have the time to listen to the entire thing for an hour or two.
Was about to make this same comment
@@Delicious_J sounds like a lot of CZcams style conspiracy nonsense. . If you want to hear a out the real conspiracy check out the casefile on operation wonderland
@@Delicious_JTrue. Police found evidences to accuse the Parents of Maddie. I read the police report on wikileaks, clear as water. But someone powerful take care of it.
These cases always remind me to appreciate the strong justice system in my own country.
The fucker who kidnapped him should be tortured until he confesses to which person he sold him and what kind of loser married him, what a sick joke. . I am so mad. Rui Pedro, You'll be saved. Fight them and come back. Run away and start over, come back! It's not too late to start over, come back!
They were all involved. These children will never see justice in our lifetimes 💔
Here I am, 1/4 way thru and already commenting....
So...who wanted the lad?
The Police Chief? The Mayor? Politician?
Standard rich weirdo?
Something stinks here...
Leopold & Loeb please
The awful thing is that those kids are 90+% likely dead. I can't imagine how awful it would be to lose a child.
Those child abductors should get life in prison mandatory.
👏👏👏
There was never an open windows in the Mcann case that's rubbish
So Portugal does not have the law that states if someone is missing for 7 years, then they are legally declared dead? Is it up to the family to take that decision? Anyway, that was a terribly sad case, I really felt for that poor mother.
It is one of the saddest. They suspect the child might have been sold to a human trafficking network :/
Who-wee paydrew!
Madeline Mcaain got more attention, but all these years later, her abduction is still unsolved.
I just downloaded calm
Father was right. Women won't listen
I would like to know if any of these abductees ever make any serious efforts to return to their families or why they don't when they were in tears as they were being led away. The abducted person featured in this video had 11 years of memories being with his family in Portugal and is certainly capable of finding his way back home by now. If these ones taken are now alive as grown adults aren't returning home, it is because they don't want to be reunited with their families anymore, I guess, but look at all the anguish they cause their grieving relatives. His mother really suffered and is still suffering. Doesn't her son care?
You mean assuming he isn't dead, or held against his will and so isn't physically able to return home? Cause those 2 scenarios are probably the most likely that have happened.
@@vvV-dl7kq As a child, one can be held against his will. As an adult, you have freedom of choice and can return unless you prefer not to. I strongly suspect this individual is deceased so the choice is already made for him.
The boy's mother was the lover of her son's friend.
is RUI really pronounced HOY?
This podcast is great but a lot of these cases seem to be about children. I'm going to give this one a miss especially after having to listen to lengthy adverts at the start.
Dude just skip the advertisement
@@perfectdark287 cases about kids bother some ppl. I almost turned this off as well.
It’s best if you do this case is sickening
Yeah between Portugal and Australia its not good to be a kid.
When you lose your child. Life takes on a new dark meaning where you feel the presence of evil. There is a cloud that hangs over you. It is an on going alternation between feelings of if life has meaning and total feelings of loneliness.
