Ron, why are there not more RV Attorney’s? Sounds like it could be a good niche with all the Incompetence and Larceny perpetrated by these dis-reputable organizations.
For the price of RVs today! The have to be better! Grand design is a poster child for real reform in the industry…. Grand design RVs are not excepted for a trade in !! At dealerships in Ohio …. It’s pretty much everything grand design has built…. Pretty Riggs. But ! Just wow !!

It’s true there have been a couple complaints about one of our local dealers (one addressed by Luz Amazing a while back) but nothing complained to local tv stations . . & you’re right each station has a team focused on rip-offs & poor CS /unfulfilled promises etc. it would draw attention for sure . . .
My words of wisdom are, consider you're buying "AS IS", even if it's new. So do your research, and more research. I've only owned two. A new Winnebago (2019) and this year, a used Winnebago (2017). I have only praise for the brand.
Notice the class a rv manufacturers that don’t have the rvia s stamp stand out last longer have less issues! Their are many manufacturers walking away from rvia….. that sticker is a joke ..
Is the Consumer Financial Protection Board (CFPB) of any relevance here? I filed a complaint with them on excessive auto lease termination fees, which was referred to the FTC for follow up. Filing the complaint was all done on line and fairly easy to do
I’m feeling better knowing I could have screwed myself big time if I didn’t over pay for a used RV a couple of years ago and instead purchased a new one 😂
I doubt a consumer advocate reporter at the local TV News station would have much weight against a big corporation like Winnebago (Grand Design). GD and Lippert had their opportunity to take care of the frame issue but kept quite far too long and did too little, too late to garner any new customers. Granted other manufacturers have had issues with frames at some point but from what I have read, they took care of the issue and moved forward. All rigs are going to have issues. It's how the manufacturer(s) respond to and take care of that issue(s) that keeps customers coming back. Build the damn things correctly from the start, then there wouldn't be a fraction of these issues.
