Thank you. 56 old women trying to change my baseboards. Your example was very good!
Never thought of doing that when the board is taller.... genius!
Good stuff. Thank you for helping us with this video!
You solved my problem...I didn't want to spend $ on an electric miter saw when I was only going to be working on a small kitchen, but my trim/baseboards were too tall to fit in the miter box. Thank you so much!!
You are wonderful!!! I have some tall baseboards I need to cut but couldn’t figure out how to do it with the miter box and didn’t want to purchase a big table saw just yet for 4 cuts! Thank you again! I hope it’ll work for my project! 😊
I bought one of these last year, but I since have succumbed to the idea that a power tool could do this better. Regretfully, and after a lot of money, I'm back to the $20 plastic miter box I bought last year.
Absolutely Fantastic…you are brilliant. many thanks for making such a ‘top notch’ video per my request!
You sir are a genius. I wish I’d see this before I had to cut 8” baseboard!
Many thanks for all the professional details and tips
Thanks , because I enjoy during things for myself. God Bless you❤
This was my issue today..now to build the jig!..thank you!
Glad i could help.
Well I built the jig! Worked perfect! Saved me a ton of money, thanks!
Thank you good information
Soy tu nueva subscritora me encantan tus videos 👍👍
Brilliant
Thank you sir
Yeesh, that plastic miter box seems cheap? Any particular reason one wouldn't spend a little extra money for a metal one? Any down sides?
There are downsides, you can't cut ,half degree angles. Such as 45.5 also the saw blade takes a little plastic with it. However if you don't want to spend the cash on a miter saw and need to cut tall trim this is about the only way to do it. Thanks for watching.
@@detroitdiy they don’t make metal miter boxes with 45.5 etc?

Check out that miter box.
@@detroitdiy ah nice. I’ve actually had my eye on this one. I assume also there’s no reason this wouldn’t work with the trick you’ve detailed in your video, yeah?
