How to turn off those annoying beep sounds on microwaves. This may not work for all microwaves but I have had a lot of people tell me it did work for theirs.
Please tell me why i did this at 3 am and Its a loud microwave and when i pressed the 1 it told me to insert food 😭✋ and then my mom came in bc of the beep and I got my but wooped

I have a cabinet under mount/over range style Whirlpool (WMH32519HZ) microwave and the method to mute sound is a little different: 1) Press Clcck/Options 2) Press Clock/Options 3 more times until display reads “Sound” 3) Press the number “3” to turn All sound OFF 4) Press the number “4” to turn All sound ON I hope this helps

When the light won’t shut off the only way to fix it is to buy a new motherboard, and they range in price from $156 to over $300 online plus tax & shipping. Also $150 for service call to install it. And it’s an inherent problem in this Whirlpool model. You can buy a new microwave for $450 or pay that much for repairs or buy an LED stick up under cabinet lights for $12 to $18 as a alternative solution.
Didn't work on my whirlpool microwave. None of the video instructions are shutting mine off for some reason. I have a set up menu which will turn only the buttons off but the annoying beep at the end when your food is ready, still stays on.
You should not make a microwave run empty you are damaging it and may cause fire. if you want to show to people just put like a glass of water for like 10 seconds, or run it on convection, grill mode it is safer if your microwave has it.
Mine child locks if I press the start button. But mine is Hamilton Beach. Trying to figure out if there is a hack for mine though but my numbers 1 to 6 are express buttons so they just automatically start cooking.
