Thanks for the review. I've used regular burrs similar to the galahad and have been tempted by the turbo plane. Up until now nobody has mentioned the cons of the turbo plane and I appreciate that you did. I suppose I'll probably get one eventually.
Thanks, Charlie.
Just Price ! Eventually !
This video is just what I was looking for

Thanks for the info Cam! 👍🏻👊🏻
Thanks, Fred. Soooo, when are you going to start doing some carving? ;)
@@CammiesGarage Not sure, but I'll definitely to carve out some time one of these days!😉
Great work.
Thanks, Saurav.
Cool, this is interesting you should do a whole comparison series bits Dremal attachments and what ever else. Cool nice work!
Kinda random but what wood glue do you use?
I use regular wood glue mostly. Any will do just fine; Elmer's, Titebond, Gorilla... I use super glue for temporary applications. For example, I often use it to attach small pieces of wood to a waste block for turning.
@@CammiesGarage Some other ! You tube IDIOT ! Was Complaining ! About ! Gorilla ! Glue ! It ! Seems like that ! Stuff ! Is ! USELESS !
Yep ! BACK ! To ! The ! Chansaw ! You ! Go !!
Nice review. Out of interest, do you have an air-cleaner in your shop? Oops, in your garage? Izzy Swan recently "reviewed" an OEM air cleaner vs a box-fan with a filter attached; you might be interested.
Thanks, Rob. I'll check it out.
Hello, thanks for the advice. I want to carve bowls in the shape of boat using pine and olive trees. Which of the knives would be more suitable?
Sorry, I cannot suggest anything.
What grit Holey Galahad wheel are you using after the turbo plane? I crave trench bowels, dough bowls, etc and have problems getting into the inside corners the way I want with the turbo plane and want to use a holey galahad but don't now if I I should get a fine or medium. the basic curve will be there it will just need to be refined a bit better before sanding
I have #47851 RCB - Round Coarse (Blue 90 Grit.) which is pretty aggressive. If you just want to refine it before sanding, you may want medium or fine, as you said. Thanks for watching and good luck with your work!
Μπορώ να αγοράσω με αντικαταβολή?
You can buy a very similar carving disks on eBay for the equivalent of $20 or less. No way would I pay up to $150 for either of those.
Absolutely. I since started using a Graff Speedcutter, which is less than $20. Works great and fast.

Warning, i have just removed most of my index finger with one of these discs please think if its worth it !!!!
I am very sorry to hear that. I hope you heal up quick and feel better soon.
@@CammiesGarage thank you
