The form I practise is called Tai chi Bang: Eight-Immortal Flute as developed by Master Jessie Tsao. The Bang is made from bamboo and is the length of my forearm from elbow to tip of middle finger. I understand that, although similar, the tai chi ruler is smaller and a different shape. I have uploaded another video of this form after more practice, some amendments and evaluation by Master Tsao. Kind of a contemporary blend of ruler and bang most likely taken and improvised from Feng Zhiqiang Japan videos and Chen Xian. Not a classical set!
