  • HELLO! HELLO HELLO!
I know I’ve been pretty DEAD on here for a couple of months but hopefully this video makes up for it! This is the first video I’ve done like this and I’m pretty happy with it, I got really passionate about the subject of fright dome because it seems to be a forgotten yet really REALLY important part of FNaF’s 7 year long history- FNaF at Fright Dome 2016!
This project has taken around 2 months of development now?? I started around March but after some little hurdles I put some time aside to really focus and finish it all myself and now I can get back to working full time on my Glamrock Freddy suit!
Hopefully I did a good enough job at informing some of y’all that haven’t heard of this before so we can uncover some of the lost parts of this event as a community-
GIGANTIC shoutouts to @joel.bloop for drawing the new saucbear sprites, he’s a friend of mine and a great artist, I really recommend checking out his work on Twitter and Instagram!
    / joel.bloop
I’d also like to give a huge thanks to Adrian The Puppeteer and TheFinestCake for helping out in finding some previously unseen footage and other tidbits from around the internet, this project would’ve not been made without them!!
Here are the links to their channels!

I'd also like to give a shoutout to my friend Reagan for helping with some of the editing ideas and script! She's always helping out with these videos so give her a follow!:
    / @alainamates635
Like I said in the video I might have a second part with an interview with a very special person who worked on fright dome pretty soon so if you’re interested in seeing that make sure to subscribe and set a notification for my next uploads!
I’d also love to hear anything you guys would like to see me cover in any similar videos to this, like the FNaF Theme Park ride or my concepts for a FNaF Restaurant- I read all of your comments so if you enjoyed this make sure to let me know if you want to see more!!
Thanks for reading! Now if you’ll EXCUSE me I’ll go back into my hole to work on my cosplays for my next videos-

In case if Anyone is curious, the Suits were Comfy, but Gross.
They were Never Washed, causing them to be Very Grimy and Smelly, and your surroundings impacted how Relaxing your shift was.
Example, if you were Bonnie, it was the Easiest and most Fun, since you popped out of a Side room and scared the Hell out of people. It was a little annoying, since the ears could get Stuck in the curtains.
Chica was Very Boring. All you did as her, was stand in a Corner of the Prize Corner, and creepily stare at people, tho I manage to Improve this area by Suddenly lunging at people.
Freddy was probably the most Painful. He was located at the Very End of the haunt, and had to drop a trap door in a wall to scare people with your big head and a Horn gun. This was Horrible, cause the Loud horn Reverberated inside the head, And there is a Chance that the Latch of the you trap door could hit your arm, (Happened to me 4 times)
And lastly, Foxy. He was the Fan Favorite, but By Far the most MISERABLE to play. The Pirates Cove area was Dark, Foggy, and had a Ton of Flashing lights, which disoriented the Hell out of you and gave you a Migrane as well as Tunnel vision!
Puppet wore a full Morphsuit as well as a Mask, and was located towards the End of the haunt in a Secondary Security office

    • @somethingwithbungalows
      @somethingwithbungalows Před 2 lety +19

This reminds me of a time when I was brainstorming a bunch of ideas for another FNaF walkthrough attraction. It’d be nice to be like that. (Like what you said)
Perhaps there can be a Fazbear Fright’s section where you’re put in William’s shoes, forced to endure your own crimes via a disorienting mirror/black-light themed maze with animatronics and FNaF related things (that really relate to William’s and the kids’ lore) placed throughout. Maybe Golden Freddy would keep showing up at random whilst staring directly at you, seemingly following you wherever you go.
And! imagine a dreamlike FNaF 4 segment where you walk in a room where it’s floor twists into the ceiling and you have to walk on it. Then you’d have these projections like those dancing ghosts in the ballroom at Disney’s Haunted Manor of the FNaF 4 animatronics that look see-through and ghostly that are wayyy too close for comfort. There could be a place where there’s Evan (Crying Child) on his bed with his plushie, laying down crying, as N. Fredbear/Nightmare or Nightmarionne looms over his bed watching him intently or something.
Idk feel free to add on

A friend of mine went there, the most he mentioned was that a security guard led the way and things were kinda rushy. There were times where some people got jumpscared by Freddy and crew but it was so poorly timed that the next batch would only get to see Freddy and them getting back into positions to jumpscare the next group so that group missed it. Of course that could have been only that particular time my friend went, but he was disappointed by how sloppy it was.

    • @killerspiderwebs

I worked there and this often happened, unfortunately not the guides fault, the manager for the fnaf house was a horrid manager and forced groups to be taken regardless of it ruining peoples experiences, it happened when that person was my manager too. Higher up managers would come by and complain that our lines were too long and so then our direct manager would force the experience to be rushed on high capacity nights often.

Phenomenal video, the Fright Dome attraction is such an interesting and obscure piece of FNaF history that I feel has always gone largely unrecognized. Sister Location releasing at the same time definitely drew lots of interest away from the event, so it doesn't surprise me too much how little information we actually have documented about the experience. Also, I can't remember how reliable of a source I heard this from, but back when this was happening I did read somewhere that Scott Cawthon was actually dressed as a security guard at the end of attraction at some point. Completely unconfirmed but an awesome possibility nonetheless!

I am so glad that someone talked about this attraction, and I have some news of WHY Fright Dome didn’t continue after 2018
My uncle worked for MGM Grand (which was the parent company for select casinos) was told that Fright Dome will not return after 2018 due to licensing issues, management issues, and months and months of drama between Circus Circus, and Jason Egan.
Many assumed the Las Vegas shooting scared away patrons, or that the Saw Escape Room was nailing their coffin, but the reality was that Jason demanded so much out of Circus Circus in order to keep them going. At one point, Jason actually wanted to run Fright Dome as its own event without Circus Circus, but he’d already given the rights of Fright Dome to Circus Circus. Instead of negotiating a deal, Circus Circus and MGM decided it was time to put a close to Fright Dome

They had a horror maze that had a whole section dedicated to Five Night’s at Freddy’s and I nearly cried in happiness. The characters didn’t scare me when they popped out, but that only because I was admiring their suits. I saw Bonnie, Freddy, and Chica, but sadly no Foxy. I hope they get to do that again this year and maybe more people can enjoy it as well!

This is really interesting! The only thing close to this was the Five Nights At Candy's gamelab episode, but that was private. Really kind of want an atraction where you can play as the night guard, but it's public. This is still something that feels like there's more lost info about. Obviously the Golden Freddy question, but was there plans for any other hidden characters that were planned or did happen? Mainly thinking Shadow Freddy and Shadow Bonnie. This is such a fun blast from the past. I forced my dad to take me and a friend to frightdome to go to this, and I actually have some answers. As far as I can remember, there was one scare actor the night we were there, Chica, and she was by the prize counter. Also I think that the puppet was in the ball pit? I have a vague memory of that. As a sidetone- it wasn't free-roam, so there was a "security guard" with you the entire way until the maze section. In the one video we have of the attraction, there's no security guard, so you're probably right that it was taken by a staff member. I remember feeling really upset that there was someone to guide us through, because the other fright dome houses didn't have that and it took away from the story a bit. This is speculation here, but I think there was actually two different paths, based on the maze and the amount of people walking around in there. I might be wrong about that though.

I live in Vegas and I remember when this was a thing. I went twice to frightdome that year. It was by far the best Halloween experience ever. Sadly, they never did again the years after which sucks. However, they had did something called “fright ride” for 2020 which was a Covid safe haunted house experience and I thought I might have saw the fnaf props reused. I thought I might have saw the heads but they were re done so they weren’t fnaf anymore. I could be wrong but when I saw it I thought it was sad rather than scary

Actually the heads and other props were stored away and are in great condition, we were able to find a worker from fright dome and they showed the original costumes in good condition

Recently, there's been this YT channel called Ex Blue who have been recreating the FNaF games in real life. Unfortunately, these aren't open to the public but they make videos documenting their progress in making these recreations and also playing it with friends on their YT channel (and TikTok I think???). I think it's a really cool thing they're doing and they've so far made FNaF 4 and just finished FNaF 1. They should definitely get more recognition for the hard work and effort they put in to make our childhoods a reality.

  • @planetsliveinsidethemoon1600

I remember back when this dropped in 2016, I was a massive FNAF fan and wanted to go so badly! Unfortunately, I was just entering high school at the time, and my parents weren’t willing to drop everything and fly me to Vegas, haha. Seeing this video was a treat, what a blast from the past!

  • @cinnamoproductions8432

Hey, I just found out about your channel but I actually went to the fright dome that exact year it happened! The puppet thing is true in that it did exist but I remembered it popping out of a box at the end of the attraction. I also don’t even remember many of the actual cast members reaching out to scare any of us during our walkthrough. To me it was kinda boring and not very scary overall but it could’ve been because we were 12ish and they didn’t want to freak out kids. They had a krampus and ouija board attraction there too which also kinda sucked and a few years later the Fright Dome eventually closed down but it’s cool to know people still remember this event! My friend still has his gigantic Foxy plush that he got from the fright dome to this day.

This video has inspired me to remake FNAF fright dome. On PlayStation 4 there is game called DREAMS where you can create things and thanks to this video I have been inspired to make fright dome. I don't know how long it'll take but for those of you who don't have PlayStation I would gladly make a video showcasing it off. Other than this great video! I loved the editing style and the humor is topnotch, keep up the great work and can't wait to see your Glamrock Freddy.

There was a lot involved with why Jason Egan owner of frightdome was forced to separate from Circus Circus. It was mostly due to Circus Circus having issues with the previous shooting the year before happening on the strip but as well as money issues. I think the final nail in the coffin was the stigma that Circus Circus and the area around it had hosting fright dome. It was a bit of a raunchy event at times. I remember working there as a VIP guide a few years after I had gone through the FNAF maze and it was a pretty dirty area due to the event 😂 i’m actually friends with Jason Egan which is how I got the VIP job so if you want to know more about the reason they separated I’ve got some answers.

Heads up I got some potential info on the mascot company I emailed them in September in 2021 asking about Etsy and they replied so they were still around at the time although I tried getting a foxy suit this year but no one has replied so (I'm assuming here) due to the pandemic being worse over there they just aren't selling any for the moment we can only hope they'll be back in business soon
