What I love about Bob Bailey is, he’s not just reading lines. He has so many regular characteristics. He’s the best JD.
So love these old radio shows. Whenever I can’t shut my mind off to sleep I put on Johnny Dollar. Something about just listening to a simpler time is very relaxing. Thank you to those who brought these jewels of the past back to life. 👍❤️
I enjoyed this one . Thanks so much . A definite BB fan .

Thank you for these episodes Bob Bailey is Johnny Dollar. Jack Johnstone did a bang up job on writing these episodes. He was definitely one of the best. Thanks again. This was a good one as usual.

A real good one
Enjoyed! Thank you!
That's Mary Jane Croft (Mary Jane from the Lucy Show), playing the secretary!
In the picture credits, I didn’t see Howard McNear but he was in the opening of the second episode.
😎😎😎😎
I have often wondered if "Yours Truly Johnny Dollar" would have made an excellent T.V. series. He could be modernized: the ringing phone would be his cell phone, he would be typing his reports on a laptop, etc.. My only question: would it be considered too close to the old George Peppard series "Banacek"? I suggest it would be worth looking into.
Many TV shows were copied from popular radio shows. "Cannon" is based on"Richard Diamond, PD' . "Rockford Files" and Manmix, too.
I agree most TV shows were copied from these great old Tyme radio shows
