- Take a ride around the L&KV's layout. On this video you will travel on the Lehigh Valley from Ludlowville, NY to Calypso Yard in Bethlehem, PA. Next take a ride on the Reading from Quakertown, PA to Reading, PA. Finally, follow along on an inspection trip on the CNJ from Ashley, PA to Lehighton, PA and return. Also included in this video are views of our Helix and Staging Yard. For more information on the L&KV, please visit our website, www.lkvmodelrailroad.com
So many true words spoken, absolutely beautiful guy's, this layout is the stuff a boy's dreams are made of .......... " Keep on Rockin, Rollin and Riding "
Great layout. You're in for a very special treat if you play this video at double speed and listen to the music. Stellar.
great buried and weedy tracks in the yards and sidings !. that's how it should be. Good work!. Massive main line run is great too.
Great video of the cab ride of the Lehigh Valley, Reading & the Central of New Jersey on the layout. 7 members of my family worked for the Lehigh Valley railroad from 1868 to 1976 & even up to 1985 for Conrail. My family members that worked for the Lehigh Valley worked out of Coxton Yard near Pittston, PA. My great grandfather Stephen Kearney was an engineer for the Lehigh Valley, 4 grand uncles & 2 second cousins were the other 6 members of my family that worked for the Lehigh Valley railroad.
Cool train layout video.
I absolutely love this and can’t wait to see it in person. I believe that this is every model railroad builders dream, it’s mine anyway, in O Scale. The work on this is to be fully commended and I can see that it’s not completed yet. It’s an overall A+++++++++
Awesome!
OMG This super nice
Our round Robin modelers group visited this just before Covid. It has to be in the top three club railroads in the country. These guys model actual locations and the attention to detail is nothing short of excellent. They have their own 3D printer and made the Jim Thorpe station and other challenging architecture. The track plans are true to the prototype as well. If you ever have a chance to see this, there's lots more to see beyond the videos, GO SEE IT IN PERSON! You won't be disappointed.
Amazing . . . who had the time and money to invest in creating this? My hat is off to them! So large . . . It must be housed in an abandoned shopping mall - I am speculating.
