Thanks, Kevin for some truly enjoyable entertainment. I live in Ohio, am 71 years old and mostly bedridden. While watching I turn the lights down and it feels like I'm on the boat. I used to travel (only USA) but I've been from Key West to the Alaskan Arctic. Many plans were made for retirement travel but life got in the way. So, I hope you understand just how much your videos are enjoyed and appreciated. I watch on Amazon and have rewatched them many times. Again, thanks a lot.

I'm just finishing Season 6. They're brilliant - I want a narrowboat
What a difference to what I saw last weekend on the Leeds Liverpool. Two locks, two coming down, one going up. One boat coming down was single handed. All three worked together and job done in about 20 minutes. The boater coming up said he'd never passed in locks before, but it worked a dream.

Just started season 7, after binge watching all 6 on prime, excellent filming , and loving the cooking sections , hopefully see you on the cut in 18 month's when im a liveaboard.

Alas. The phrase "there's always one" seems to apply nicely. Big clumsy boat gets stuck in the lock. Helmed by an eejit. "First time I've lost my temper with a boater". Highly unlikely. Having a re watch of the older vids Kevin!

I think some people just get an idea of what their doing and if someone else suggests different they can’t understand the change. Hope your back heals soon. Great to see travels by narrowboat on YT.

Dude! I thought you'd slipped in a cow pie and it took me several replays to figure out you nearly took out the beans 'n franks on the lock beam! Later: Crap, Kevin. I know almost exactly what you're going through. I did almost the same thing years ago. Took several visits to my local chiropractor, lots of ice and anti-inflammatories to work it out.

I would love to see a little tutorial, maybe with a diagram, of how the locks and valves you crank work. I have a fair amount of mechanical aptitude but have never been shown how the lock system works. One would think with all the narrow oat vlogs out there that would be easy to find.....not so.
I don’t see Yorkshire tea on the shelf. How can you possibly make it up north without a good cuppa. Lol! I’m going to Colorado to see my son’s new born. But I’m taking my English tea with me. If my daughter in-law is going to make me a cuppa Chia I’m going to make sure a got real black tea. Cheers! You got to try a bottle of Kentucky bourbon ale. You will love it. ❤️

I just wrapped up season 6 on Amazon. It's the feeling you get after finishing a really good book. I'm so glad your adventure is still ongoing and on YT. I don't know how you kept your cool with that guy! If your in a lock you control it, it's not the place of someone else to start interfering with the paddles or gates! I wonder how he would have reacted if the roles were reversed...

I am not sure how everyone else spent this last year of quarantine, but I have taken the opportunity to refine my "Toad In The Hole" recipe. The key to the highest iteration that I have created has been....surprise....dried chives and lemon pepper mixed into the flour! Also, I found that a combination of pancake mix with all purpose flour was a Coronavirus accommodation that paid unexpected dividends in the rise and texture of the pudding element. Cheers to you Kevin, as we were worried about how your River Trust license would allow you to travel during pandemic and how accessible services might be if they required you to remain on the move. Stay safe, stay well and I must admit that I too have profoundly missed the soothing sound of Aslan's diesel.
