"Five-man operation". How many characters does each person fly, huh?
5
What is this "fly" thing? That's what you do outside of Jita 4 4 right?
5 man operation with 200 alts each
@@hirebrand Yeah... They say you can undock and there will be huge world outside to fly in, to explore... Myth, of course, but pretty interesting, right? :)
true! i'm stationed next door to a 4 man korean corp with like 60 characters. there's currently 24 in local but only two players. back in 2013, i was in an industry corp with a guy who multiboxed 25 miners at the same time. we had about 600 members but around 450 were alts. PLEX is the industrialist's best friend!
As an industrialist myself, I very much relate to this.
We are a 5man group, that produce industrial capital ships like orcas and frieghters. We do everything ourselves, from mining to reprocessing, to ship construction and delivery to clients.
Some may find it boring, but for us it's somewhat fulfilling to see that our hard work and labor is being enjoyed or shot at by someone else and we make isk out of it.
What region are you in?

So well said, Kriddius.
It is fun, said the person who blew me up

I started out just like that during my newbie days.
Don't worry, you'll find great ways of making is soon
This summarises what I have been doing so far.
Me and my 10 friends (each with like 4 chars) have been mining and reprocessing ore for ~2 months rn, to build a couple of capital ships that my friends can then use for PvP and stuff, plus an Orca which I’ve been looking forward to get
There's a few ship classes between barges and capitals.

Nah, the good days of being industrial on eve ended almost a year ago, dont even come my friend.
THey ruined everything from the roots. IS so hard that you need more than multiboxing, as an industrialist for years i stoped playing frecently and i m even abandoning this. Ima move to other game that dont nerf stuff like this.
I m not even the only one industrialist, the economic reports have shown that more and more industrialist are leaving. There is a big inflation on the cost of all ships due to this big change almost a year ago, ships cost raised 3-10 times their price and more.
@@desp1172 I mean its a game how bad can it be not like they have a real economy or something right? You sound like its Stockmarket or something.
@@MightyGameReviewer The point is simple.
CCP is trying to center the economy and manage it by his own hands, after those big changes to the industry, Ships and even the space basically have removed a lot of power on the players, big alliances have been destroyed for the changes, experienced players even abandoned due to it, they want make everything harder for s to keep paying real money. Since the changes everything went more expensive, and the plex prices reduced cause lots of people cant afford by farming, mining and so on so they buy more plexes (Premium money)
Its a game yes it is, but now the future of it is being handle by the real creators and not for the players. And that goes against from what eve was made for.
@@desp1172 I see, so its turning into a developer based economy than player based
@@desp1172 They made bigger ships harder to make and smaller ones easier it was a good change what are you on about lol
As an Eve online mining Capsuleer, this really makes me happy. I would mine days on end to stockpile minerals. I then have an alt ship them out to any mid-high sec corp in a matter of hours. And I do this all on 2 free alpha accounts, so yes, this is very easy to do, and I find enjoyment in it. just to simply come home from work and to mine away till I fall asleep XD
Five-man operation with 20 alternate accounts each.
For those who want to start playing this game know that the prices for a bigger ship starts at 100 euros in PLEX and goes all the way up to 2000-3000 euros.
It's probably the most expensive game on the market.
Or u can just bought it for isk xD
I agree, lots of ways to play this game, some people prefer conflict, action and drama, other extremes just want to mine in high sec while watching netflix. It's good to try out different stuff before specializing.
He contradicts himself. Industrialists _are_ driven by conflict; they absolutely depend upon it.
My thoughts exactly.

Calm down, miner
I'm a miner myself who is starting to branch out into industry. I find it much more fun than combat though I am a decent combat pilot should the need arise.
I dont really get what is combat in eve... Isnt it just lock and fire?
Anyone know who done the voice over work for this? Sounds like Giorgio Moroder (I know it isn't)
"I'm the CEO"
I'm impressed.
"Five-man operation"

FUNNI
At this point Eve Online should be a strategy game. Hold your left mouse button, select all your ships with your characters inside them. Right clicc to a rock. Mine.
Good job explaining our job and how complex it is, I spend time looking NBI handout fittings, corp fittings, alliance fittings and a million other data points to find out what the best thing is to build. Then im out mining, running my PI chains, running invention to get t2 copies to run, and a million other things needed to build ships and modules and ammo.
I just started but think this concept is sick...I'd like to join a group like this
Got this as an autoplay ad. Took a few secs of it playing in the background to realize it wasn't an ad for an actual military contractor
"(...) and that's why we're going to screw industry up next update"
I'm so nostalgic for the captain's room
am i the only one who thinks his voice is relaxing?
This CEO is now an idol for industrialists everywhere.
Good trailer. The Eagle hull animation with the blueprint ingredients is really cool. Unfortunately the trailer promotes a false idea in order to bait prospective players into CCPs cage.
Like other maxims CCP has been uttering during this past year and a half "Industrialists shape EVE" is barely a half truth. CCP shapes EVE not the players. In fact CCP has been systematically removing player agency from the game along with the removal of entire gameplay features. Somehow CCP came to believe that a self-inflicted financial meltdown due to self-cannibalizing features was in order. An already grindy game became even more stupidly grindy with even less fun or player to player interactions.
I love this game and hope to come back in the next meta. Surely there will still be enough masochists keeping it alive. Good luck to those starting now. If you manage to catch up and make your in-game dreams true in this environment you are a legend.
CCP to industrialists: here's a bite block cus we dont believe in lube around here
also ccp: why won't more industrialists join the game?
coz their tired of getting screwed over? so they leave lol
cause u need to multibox a shitload of accounts
as gankers prepare more disposable fleets
While militaristic capsuleers win wars, industrial capsuleers makes sure said wars are always supplied with ships, ammo, equipment, etc.
I chose the miner path. Really enjoying it, once I get enough ISK I’ll prolly start my own Corp
Great trailer CCP
That's amazing. Literally. You just sold me on this.
As someone that mines for an industrial corp, this speaks to me...
These are the kinda vids that make me wanna get back into eve again
Dont, they are crushing industrialists in the newest updates. Search their ore changes if you wanna know more. *also BP chanages*
Industrialists in EVE Online handle decision-making during different stages of the game by considering the dangers inherent in the virtual economy, such as the possibility of other players' fiduciary malfeasance. They are expected to make financial decisions based on various factors, including the risks posed by other players, similar to real-life economics. Additionally, they engage in manufacturing processes using blueprints to create items within the game, converting materials and components into new items.
Please share the real secret. Tell us how many T2 BPOs do you own? :)
This game.. your not ready for this!! Your correct, takes months to get skills to master anything lol. I play but not much just gonna be along time to get skills. I know its part of the game just damn!

"Yes sir I have 5 years of training in econ in a video game called EVE Online"
Is that Giovanni Giorgio, also known to his friends as Giorgio?
My game is paid for a year in advance, but I haven't played for 3 months. ESS (Banks) / DBS (constantly falling payout percentage) killed Null-secs, and therefore my point of leveling, I wanted to fly in large fleets in a large alliance, in fact I got a hat that it’s easier to play in an empire in a corp with zero tax than to suffer at Null-secs.
Industrialists shape eve huh? You wouldn't think so with all the ore nerfs
and without you guys,we all gonna be starting to purchase and build our desired ships from level zero,so as my uh,token of appreciation i want to share to you these words: you guys to us? BIG OASIS.
Fantastic video , great. 🙂
Realized too many industrialists unsubbed after you killed moon mining? Most aren't coming back
an official trailer, brilliant video! Thanks CCP
great video to make industry look fun but the premise is pure fantasy. this video goes through all of the cool stuff with none of the risks.
unless your group of 5 is renting and selling in a null power block where it's safe and you get max bonuses, small group industry isn't sustainable. in lowsec, roaming gangs of 10+ will bash your structures out of boredom. in highsec, you get wardecced+station camped and people gank empty haulers all day just for the opportunity to taste salt. highsec hauler ganking is so optimized now that it's literally a battle of server latency and command priority. maybe this is a wormhole group that nobody has bothered to evict yet?
just for perspective: with perfect refinement, perfect blueprints, 50b+ maxed infrastructure, years of processing/production skills, implants and zero taxes, you currently lose about 40k isk turning ore into a venture depending on where you sell it. the upcoming specialization changes are good but 5 people cannot do vertical integration by design unless they have 20 alts each. even carving out a slice is tricky because there's only 3 stations and 2 citadels in the whole game where people actually shop which makes margins extremely tight.
That's why players order them, when the ship is built it is already sold which avoids unnecessary expense.
Ay, eve Devs how can I contact these guys in the ad
This is a great video!! I want to build a Corp like this.

I wish I had full power pc and time to play this, maybe in 20 years when I retire
This game dosent take a very good pc, can probably be ran on a potato because the engine is great. And most skills train in real time so I don't find it very time consuming. You can put up a 350 days skill queue and come back next year with a great account. :)
@@styxzero1675 my pc can handle medium/high quality till there are not many enemies but I'd like enjoy full resolution universe, wrecks, explosion etc., it's very impresive game (I could buy new one but mortgage...). Also I was playing free version which is quite limited I think but good experience however premium is expensive for someone who plays couple hours a week/month. Having option to permanently unlock things for real money would fit me much more than time limited acces.
@@Drat789 Fair point yea I do agree the premium is on the more expensive side could probably cut it by 5 or so dollar.
Oh yeah, they still use BPOs ever since dropping the initial design for modular research tech trees. Oh hell, they made industrial production and research suck even more by introducting BPO copies which require just plain stupid insane amounts of grinding. People training research had wasted skillpoints, people with secondary accounts had massive advantages and most often became CEOs because people depended on them instead of teamwork.
They allowed 3 characters per account, then stopped training for all but one characters. And instead of banning multiaccounting to counter pay-to-win shit, they even endorsed it with their 'power of two' campaign, which even advertised the benefits of having several accounts while offering a secondary account at just 50% the price.
Scammers just transfer funds to other characters, never get punished while playing on anonymously.
Scammers get 'teleported away' from stations without cloning bays after the alliance he stole from made the effort of laying siege to the station he was on for several weeks, with just the justification of preventing 'grief play'.
Bug reports for a glitch which allowed the simple doubling of ones credits as simply like pressing of a button never get answered.
BPOs initally being given away by lottery instead of being researched; BPOs given away from Developers to their friends circumventing the lottery system.
Developers and GMs organizing public 'events', in which they make an armada of 'NPC pirate' capital ships shoot the most important base of a large player alliance to bits, making them loose their war in the most critical phase and leading to the alliance being dissolved.
The marketing and company made so many shitty mistakes it's unbearable to think about. Me playing Eve has luckily ended nearly a decade ago. What started out as an awesome idea with actions having permanent consequences on your character like loosing your ship or at least skillpoints has become a joke, where you simply respawn with cheap clones while keeping the expensive implants in some jumpclones in empire safety. This has become more of a grinding game only focused on paying monthly subscription and farming for some PvP ship reserves.
It sounds fun at first, but CCP has a way of taking most fun out of the game by questionable design and change decisions.
I love to build I just am sick of being shot at all the time trying to do it myself
How long will this game last?
This game is much older than my 10 year old baby brother.
CCP: "Industrialists shape EVE"
Also CCP: "Lets make the industrialist style of play virtually impossible with scarcity."
this was the human comment I was searching because the other ones are youtube bots, thanks and way to go CCP!!
Absolutly Love it
Nah CCP, I don't have my perfect refine skills anymore.
Oh so now industrialists get recognized….
“Some of us are specializing in mining…”
1 - how many alts make this “us” in a “5 man corp?”
And I like how the narrator talks about avoiding conflict. 1 - mining and hauling is not true. 2 - structures, also not true. 3 - benefitting from conflict so therefore not avoiding conflict.
Man…. Where did they find this guy?
This video is totally lacking in providing a well rounded image of industry. It really needs to be transparent with players and highlight the dangers associated with it ( esp. hauling and mining). These dangers - imbalances - have driven countless players out of the game. Which totally makes industry many times harder.
This video does not accurately depict Eve. As a 15 year vet who owned a fleet of public Indy structures, partnered with many alliances, and operated and industrial alliance, I have the experience to make good on what I say here.
Bro it's a video game, stop talking about it like it's your lifes greatest achievement.
