I can never see that there is a way to get better, like it's just the way I am and not good enough to be able to change. It also doesn't help when you try to talk about how your feeling and others put you down, I have found all family members just want to look like our family is all together, so they don't want to talk about things that look unwell. And every therapist or doctor I have been to doesn't know a thing about depersonalization. So don't know what to do about it. Why don't they know and also act like it is so rare. I type it into CZcams and dozens of video's come up with people talking about having it. Most seem like it was brought on by using pot, which was not my case. I now after having dp/dr for 35 years straight see it's from anxiety and fear. I never let myself not function, just kept living and doing all the normal things that I was suppose to do, but not felling real. I have been seeing a therapist doing emdr last 6 months, getting some help. But feel like giving up, cause just feels useless lately. Like I'm just stuck hear for the rest of my life so why try. I tried many SSRI's with no help for the dp/dr, benzo's help a little, but then cause's and rebound effect, so just use natural stuff now. I have read books on what to do for dp/dr and fellowed all the advice with no help and don't know why I keep coming back to check on these sites. I'm so glad these things have helped you and others to get over dp/dr. And wish they worked for me.

Very informative. But can you please lower the background music since it can trigger maladaptive daydreaming. 🤦🏻‍♀️😅 Thank you so much for this. Have a nice day Mr. Yousef.
