  • Welcome to our new video, exploring Sir Roger Penrose's Conformal Cyclic Cosmology (CCC) theory and his profound critiques of the standard Big Bang theory. In this enlightening journey, we'll delve deep into Penrose's ground-breaking hypothesis, a paradigm shift in cosmology that challenges our fundamental understanding of the universe.
Penrose, a renowned mathematical physicist, introduces CCC as a radical alternative to conventional cosmology, proposing an eternal and cyclic universe. Instead of one singular Big Bang, he posits an infinite series of cosmic 'aeons,' each beginning with its own Big Bang, and ending in a smooth, expansive phase called the 'conformal infinity.'
Critiquing the standard Big Bang model, Penrose questions the 'cosmological singularity' - a point of infinite temperature and density, suggesting it's a mathematical artifact rather than physical reality. He also takes issue with Cosmic Inflation, a pillar of standard cosmology designed to explain the uniformity of the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB). Penrose argues that these finely-tuned initial conditions are highly improbable.
Instead, he suggests looking for evidence in the present universe that hints at a previous aeon. Penrose's theory predicts concentric circles of lower-than-average temperature in the CMB - these 'Hawking Points,' are thought to be the final echo of black hole evaporation events from a previous cosmic cycle.
Join us as we probe the depths of these fascinating ideas, unpacking their implications for our understanding of cosmological phenomena like dark energy, entropy, and black holes. We'll explore the controversy and discussion Penrose's CCC theory has sparked among scientists, and how it may reshape our cosmic story.
Stay tuned for this exploration into the very fabric of the universe, a tantalizing journey into the cyclical nature of reality that will stretch your imagination to the outer limits. This is a must-watch for anyone keen on high-energy physics, quantum gravity, and the mysteries of cosmology. Not that much. It’s just Einstein’s equations only bring us back to a millisecond after what we experienced (or call) the Big Bang. From that moment back to the initial singularity quantum physics come into play, but without having a quantum understanding of gravity we are speculating. It’s the two sides of the same coin. The two theories describe reality very well, yet they fundamentally contradict each other, that’s how we know one or both are wrong or not complete. Thus Stephen Hawking was working on the theory of everything.

I do think there is rather a large gap between proposing narratives of how the universe may have originated and end , and offering a physics model, that may be correct. Yes this idea has some correspondence, being cyclic, with one of those narratives, but you have to remember Penrose's idea is speculative still , saying "well the Buddhist's knew" this will be quite an egg on face moment if a cyclic account is wrong. Penrose's idea is very radical in physics , he basically saying that the universe employs a mathematical trick to restart , he also suggests that certain particles (e.g. proton ) will decay into energy, but at this time we do not know that these particles can decay at all.

The theory still has a hole, that being dark energy and still having the need for a big bang. Meaning that it still can't answer how galaxies form so quickly very early into big bangs, besides not being able to predict anything besides the CMB. The CMB is not proof that there was a big bang either, other models have also predicted a CMB. The big bang model has failed miserably to predict other observations and experiments, so it's not reliable.
The CCC model can work perfectly without the need of dark energy or a big bang by the way, he doesn't believe that there was a "bang", but he believes that the universe was extremely hot at one point, it reaches scifi levels the closer you get to the big bang.

The creation of the First Universe which likely took place about 100 billion years ago (earth time) is presented in this study.
Each of the seven Universes that are currently in existence originated from a single entity or unit of creation (singularity) which when clove asunder resulted in the formation of the Universes.
Except for the First Universe, the single entity or unit of creation of the successive second to seventh Universes all originated from the collapse or end of the previous Universes, after the Big Blast. The question that begs to be answered is “How was the single entity for the formation of the First Universe created since there was no Universe to collapse before that?”
The role of the All Mighty in the creation of the First Universe is clearly evident in the Al- Qur’an in the following Verse:
To Him is due the primal origin of the heavens and the earth: when He decrees a matter, He says to it: “Be,” and it is. (Surah 2: Al-Baqarah Verse 117).
While the question of Who created the Universe is abundantly clear, the question of How the First Universe was physically created is still unknown, which as a result requires some interpretation and postulations.
The Verse that guides this interpretation is given below:
Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. (Surah 24: Al-Nur Verse 35).
Based on this sentence, the following postulations are made:
The environment or space which is infinite in dimension and age before the creation of the First Universe is dark (without light). This space environment called Dark Space is not void or empty but is postulated to contain dark energy and dark matter. It is further postulated that the Dark Space is also populated with numerous bells of a trumpet like objects (black holes) of different sizes, which could range from stellar, super massive to even stupendously large ones. One of these could, after a Big Blast, result in the creation of the single entity or unit of creation, which then acts as the seed for the creation of the First Universe.
As shown from the above, it is quite clear that the creation of the First Universe or for that matter other Universes that successively followed ALWAYS takes place in an environment of Dark Space, with its inherent dark energy, dark matter and numerous black holes of varying masses, including the supermassive ones.
Based on this reasoning, the following interpretations can be made:
    a) The Universes after their creation can be expected to contain dark energy, dark matter and black holes originating from Dark Space AND light (normal) matter, formed as a result after the single entity or unit of creation was clove asunder (Big Bang).
    b) The black holes which originate from dark space play an important role in the development of galaxies of the Universe, acting as traps or focus of attraction for the light (normal) matter created after the Big Bang.
    c) Galaxies with super massive black holes or larger masses at their centers can be expected to be formed in the early stages of the creation of the Universe after the Big Bang.

The Universe as Revealed in the Al-Qur’an
    Revised Summary
The findings of a study of the Universe, based on the Al-Qur’an which was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) by inspiration about 1400 years ago, are presented in this paper.
The present Universe, with planet Earth and its beautiful stars and galaxies, is the Seventh Universe created by Allah, The Most Mighty and Full of Knowledge. The creation originated from a single entity (single unit of creation) which was clove asunder (Big Bang) six Days (13.63 billion years) ago in a dark space environment (containing dark energy, dark matter and black holes); with Earth being formed in the last two Days of the six Days period of creation. The resulting flat and thin Universe is expanding and spreading, resulting in the vastness of space.
Like Man, the present Universe has a term appointed and will very soon come to an end (estimated to be in about 2.5 million years). The end of the Universe, due to a Big Blast from a blackhole, will give rise to a new single unit of creation - which then acts as the seed of creation for a new universe. The creation of the present universe, as well as past and future universes, thus started as a Big Bang and will end later in time as a Big Blast (from black hole).
The single entity or unit of creation, responsible for the creation of the present Seventh Universe, originated from the partial collapse (end) of the Sixth Universe back in time. The creation of this Sixth Universe likewise had its origin from a single entity formed from the collapse (end) of the Fifth Universe. This series of previous creation and ending to form single entities (units of creation) in the formation of the Universes were responsible for the Fourth, Third, Second and First Universe; the latter (First) being the oldest Universe. The origin of the First Universe is also discussed. Each of the previous Universes also had its own planet Earth (with Man); now however gone due to the previous Big Blasts.
The present Seventh Universe is not the last of the Universes. Very soon a new Universe (the Eight Universe) will be created from the single entity or unit of creation produced after the end of the present Seventh Universe. Like the Universe created earlier, the Eight Universe will also have its own planet Earth. This series of ending and creation will be repeated over and over (cyclic in nature) resulting in more Universes in the future, unless the All Mighty decides otherwise.
Evidence in the form of Verses quoted from the Al-Qur’an will be presented to show the existence of the previous Universes, as well as the creation of the present and future Universes.
