I honestly believed that you grew and manicured natural. I am blown away by the notion that you are able to play and that the nails don't break on you.
Well you need to take care of your natural nails if you do acrylics. I recomend to get a nail oil to apply after washing hands, before bed, and any other time you can... And multivitamins and ESPECIALLY the vitamin called "biotin," it is responsible for hair/nail growth. Whether you do natural nails...or acrylics..You wanna make sure your natural nails are strong and healthy. Since guitar applies a lot of flexic damage and fileing a nail takes off a layer. The healthy nail bed from the oil...will allow your nail to have more "give," so they wont snap off or peel as easy.

Just something I wanted to point out: please don’t use the nail filer and do it in a back and forth motion. That will cause a lot of damages to your nail bed and cuticles. Instead, use the nail filer and go in the same direction 👍
This is true if you're filing the natural nail. For the acrylic part, it doesn't matter as much. But yeah he does go back and forth when filing his thumb which isn't great 😮

if your nails break easily maybe you should check your blood. iron and calcium deficiency make them break way faster
