Nobody can play the of younger Bilbo like Martin Freeman. He's just so unique! Can't beat it!
Martin Freeman is awesome actor.
The one thing the Hobbit Trilogy got right was casting Martin Freeman as Bilbo. Superb bit of casting. He never put a foot wrong.
He is Bilbo.
"He's not at all precious." Nice one, Martin!
He doesn't make an actual physical appearance in the book, but he is mentioned, and Gandalf does leave the group to investigate the "Necromancer of Dol Guldur" while they're passing through Mirkwood, which should chronologicaly be the second movie, unless Jackson changed the order of events.
'Precious'! Love that facial expression :D
Goodness, his hair is just fantastic and adorable here.
Neither do I, but trust me - this one is worth it.

His face is so funny and cute !!!!!!!
hope all the interviews (full) are on the DVD
No, Benedict Cumberbatch, actually. I was reffering to the modern-day version of Sherlock Holmes, from the 2010 series, where Martin Freeman plays Dr. Watson.
Bilbo is exactly the same as John Watson. He's also the complete opposite.
uncut version please!
He'll also be the necromancer apparently...
hes not at all precious hhahaha PRECIOUS
And Smaug will be voiced by Sherlock, so they're both in the movie.
"Hudge mountain of a dwarf"
If only Tyrion Lannister could hear that :)
he has taken extract form the appendices at the back of the LOTR book which sort of tells what Gandalf was doing
Yes, although I shudder to think what Jackson did with that storyline if he made the Necromancer a major character. In the book, he's only mentioned in passing - I hope he didn't get TOO carried away. In the first film, it seems okay - I just hope the other two can stay focused on Bilbo and the Dwarves, and not wander off to try and be a crossover with LotR (***SPOILER*** the Necromancer is Sauron, if you didn't know)...
Dr Watson !! :D
Glóin was the most skeptical of Bilbo in the book. But it's okay for the drama for Thórin to take that place, since the last scene will be more satisfying in the DVD version, when people watch it as a whole.
I don't assume we'll be seeing too much of im in the second movie, more like in the third. Than again, I haven't read the books (yet). I heard that *spoiler* somewhere before, but isn't Sauron basically "the eye" after he was defeated. He won't really make an actual physical appearance right?
Ah ok >.<
I don't watch TV series that much
holy shit you need to edit these interviews better.
You look like bilbo
I must admit, I've always considered Bilbo to be far, FAR more interesting than Frodo. That's why, though I've read all of Tolkien's work, the Hobbit remains my favourite - the protagonist makes the story, and in my opnion LotR had lots of great, interesting characters, but failed to make Frodo in any way interesting or original.
Are we talking about Robert downey Jr?
Why you are telling the story to somebody who hasn't read the book? Anyway, i don't think that Peter will change their way to Mirkwood. It is an important part of the movie and of the book. And it begins with that (after their visiting to the bear). The hole think with Necromanser happens when THEY ARE in Mirkwood. It happens at the same time. So , it will be in the same movie.
But i agre with you. I hope that they will give more attention in bilbo.
if i have some mistakes please forgive me.
I'm a guy and I just wanna kiss him on the cheek.
