About 5 years ago I saw this video in my recommended (I was only 11), I instantly downloaded X-plane mobile on my phone, I flew the Vision Jet SF-50 around in that game for a while, after some time I started growing a serious love for Aviation. I downloaded X-Plane 11 on my computer and started flying in that. Fast Forward to present day, I Own 2 copies of X-Plane 11, X-Plane 12, and MSFS 2020. And in a few months I will be completing flight school to get my Private Pilots Certificate. After that I plan on going commercial. You did more than just make a CZcams video, you changed a life.

@@dontflyspirit6535 Right now I have a Honeycomb Alpha yoke with Logitech rudder pedals, but I used to use the thrustmaster t16000m.

@@dontflyspirit6535 Heck yeah, the honeycomb yoke is awesome, it feels a lot like a real plane. The rudder pedals are pretty good too, I haven’t had any issues with either, pretty pleased with both of them. I’d say they are definitely worth the price, the yoke is really high quality and has a great company behind it to help if anything goes wrong.

I love it. I can't describe how good this feels.
I remember being 7-10, flying to turkey to my grandparents with my parents and my little sister in the night. It makes me so happy. I was so excited back then, to be in the plane in the night, being able to see my grandparents again, the lovely nature in the village..

oo kardesim hosgeldin im Turkish but with a Dutch nationality so I have both nationalities and I love flying every summer to the Netherlands and to Turkey just to see my family it never gets old :D

This video is nostalgic now. I watched this right as I started to fall in love with aviation right before the pandemic. It was magically, beautiful, before MSFS, this video, to me, was the pinnacle of flight sim media. A nostalgic masterpiece that I will remember as part of my childhood. Thx Jeff.

43:56 not gonna lie that was a really good landing. Notice how the GPWS has about a 1 second interval counting down from 50 through 10 but from the 10 call to touchdown he held it off for about 6 seconds, pretty good flair

Jeff you can control the cabin lights from the tablet. It’s on the third page of the tablet. You can open the doors too. Happy new year!

He Jeff! On the beeping sound for the airport just go into your plug-in menu and disable the X-Codr soundXP plugin. It’ll disable those ambient sounds that that scenery comes with. Happy flying!

On Christmas, my dad got me a Boeing 747 window. It had come off a Delta Airlines B744 (Boeing 747-400). Any dates involving it is in the year 1995. Its pretty neet, and I still have it wrapped and stored somewhere. The window is certified btw.

3:45 the wing is now the tail of the other plane
If you want to dim the lights you can do this from the cockpit on the tablet, just press the right edge of the tablet (when arrow symbol pops out) to turn to the other "page" of this tablet

That's pretty cool with the 72 window actually. Would love to get a few of the blades from the compressor section of a jt-8. I do have a flight standards manual from Eastern for the 722 which is pretty cool.

i have a small addiction to flying in commercial planes, its nostalgic and oddly relaxing to me (except for those damn babies sometimes smh). i really do enjoy flight sim videos, especially with these night flights.
I got the section of a 737-3H4 N610WN. She was retired, given to a current Southwest Captain who makes airplane art out of parts, and I got a cutout of her fuselage. It's pretty badass!

Cabin lights are in the 2nd page of the EFB. You can set night lights and all sorts.... it's been there for a couple months at least
Hey Jeff - First off... great videos, as usual. I know FPS are critical, but you might consider turning shadows ON while parked and taxiing, then off when flying. (Assuming you can splice the footage together where the viewer wouldn’t notice.). Thanks!!

about the cabin lights: you can do that in the tab on page 2. move the cursor to the right or left of the tablet to go trough the pages. btw. open/close doors is also a thing :)

Hi Jeff. Try reducing the surrounding volume in your sound settings to reduce the bipping sound from the ground vehicle.
